We are very excited about the completion of our new property in Anstruther- 28 Shorefront Apartment, Shore Street, Anstruther. The apartment consists of three bedrooms & two bathrooms which overlooks the harbour & the Firth of Forth. The apartment is in a historic location with a great deal of history. Although in the centre of town, the apartment is very calm & serene. There is parking available on the Folly opposite as well as on street parking. The property has been fully renovated by local tradesmen to a very high standard and the decor has references to some of Anstruther’s history.
Opening day for Anstruther’s new ice cream/dessert shop, wishing them every success on their new venture & blood sweat & tears has paid off to open a new business on Anstruther Shore front 🍦🍭🍨

Number 40 Acorn Court, Cellardyke was a hive of activity this morning as John Mckenzie laid our new kitchen floor and bathroom floor, it was time for an update to a better quality vinyl flooring and John has made a fabulous job as usual, the property is now in the process of being cleaned down for the arrival of our latest guests 😊
‘The Howff’ , Farm Road, Anstruther has had a cancellation for the for the Open Golf dates, this property is available to rent including 2 Golf open tickets for four nights the dates for ‘The Howff are checking in on the Thursday 14th July,15th,16th,17th & checking out on the 18th. The two golf open tickets are for Friday 15th,16th & 17th. Change over day at ‘The Howff’ Farm Road, Anstruther, some lovely comments in our guest book from our recent guests and a new sign put up by our Joiner. The off road parking spot is such a bonus.

Our latest property ready to go onto Booking.com, ‘Flemings Yard’ number 15, set in an off street Court yard with allocated parking, on the ground floor is a double bedroom with en-suite also the main bathroom which has a spacious shower, under floor heating which keeps you cosy when you step out the shower, there is also a washing machine in the entrance hall, upstairs there is a lounge/dining area and kitchen which is fully equipped, WiFi and flat screen tv, there is another stair going up to the second bedroom with king size bed, cupboard with hanging space and beautiful views. This property has just had an interior update, local joiners Neil Gardner & John Mckenzie have installed new flooring and lots of little extras to their usual very high standard, Fleming & Gibson plumbing have installed our very smart new showers and bathroom fittings, Brodie Smith electrical has upgraded all lighting and checked over all appliances and wiring, Scott McLean & Colin Campbell painters have re-painted the entire house in a fresh crisp white and blue door, new carpeting has been fitted on the stairs, lounge & top bedroom, we are so pleased with how smart this property is looking, it is in a central location minutes from the shops, restaurants, pub, harbour & castle street beach. More photos of the exterior will be added soon, the day light bursts through this property giving it a happy vibe, this is also a very tranquil property we are hoping our future guests enjoy it as much as we do 😊

We have had a busy week, any spaces between bookings are an opportunity for us to carry out maintenance work on the properties, this week we have started re- painting at Coastal Cottage, James Street, Cellardyke. We have changed some art work and also changed some pieces of furniture, we continually maintain the properties to keep them to a high standard. Later in the year the exterior will also be re- painted. Today was so lovely so there was good light in Coastal cottage to take some photos 😊
External photos taken today of ‘The Loft’ - This incredible 15th century stone embedded in the wall with a very faint bow & arrows insignia we would love to know the meaning & significance of this stone. Floors all polished today for our next guests arriving, also a view from one of the lounge velux windows of the town Kirk again which can be seen from the farm road property which is named ‘The Howff’

We are almost finished another new Holiday let, The loft, stunning property, beautiful light and flow finished to a very high standard. This property was a complete conversion approximately 10 years ago, again the work was done by local tradesmen, more photos will be posted after Christmas, the property has parking a staircase leading up to an open plan kitchen and lounge, 2 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a step in shower. The whole flat has been re-painted to freshen up the walls by local painter/decorator Scott McLean & Colin, new furniture has been added and the flat is currently undergoing ‘finishing touches’ such a unique property and ideal for a holiday as it is just around the corner from Anstruther shore. Decorated to a high standard with again quality linens, towels & free WiFi
We are very excited to show some photos taken today of our new holiday let - Number 14 Farm Road, Anstruther. Another tremendous effort from local tradesmen, John Mckenzie, Neil Gardner (Joiners), Brodie Smith (Electrician) Fleming & Gibson (Plumbing & Heating) renovating this lovely centrally situated flat. This property has two bedrooms & a shower room, longe & kitchen. It has parking outside and has three steps leading into the front door. The weather today was so bad that external photos were too difficult to take, they will be put up after Christmas. A lovely cosy little flat just a two minute walk to Shore street, absolutely ideal for a little break or a longer stay. Quality linens and towels, free WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine and well equipped kitchen.
