Susan was most recently a Divisional Managing Director at Penguin Random House UK. Her previous publishing experience includes Random House, Penguin Books, Virago Press, and Headline. She is a Co-founder of the Women’s Prize for Fiction, where she was responsible for initiating contact with the original sponsor, Orange. A Trustee of the Appledore Book Festival, she holds an MA (UEA), BA (University of Sussex), and RMN (Broadmoor Hospital).
