Built in 2014 this 1st floor accommodation has patio windows with juliet balconies, over looking the Sound of Mull and Salen Bay. On the pier - only accommodation on a pier in the UK !!!! Salen Pier Point (Sleeps 4)
Operational since March 2016, Pier Point is a new luxury lodge on the head of the pier sleeping 4. The two bedrooms each have their own shower rooms. With spacious lounge/kitchen/diner its hard to move away from the seats with the panoramic views! Salen Pier Haven (Sleeps 2)
Operational since March 2023, The Haven is a new luxury lodge on the head of the pier in what was the ticket office! Superking bedroom, modern shower room, all with great finishes. What a lovely morning view!

Arrived last night to start some winter upgrades - rooms beautifully made up. So nice after the journey - must say Calmac were nicely on schedule.

Must get on, hard to drag yourself from the window, especially since just spotted an otter!

Clear night, nature at its best.

Thanks to Freddie and Amy for sending me these pictures - they are repeat guests in the Haven on the pier, just taken from outside the lounge window!!

We cannot order these views, but when it arrives it's stunning. Hardly any light pollution there.

Plenty of weeks available in '25 if you want to try your luck !

Last minute bargain.

Sleeping up to 14, 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, on the island of Mull !! Who would like a last minute 'deal' for my Salen Pier House for the 31st August '24 !!!????

Normal price of £3400 next year. For 31st August, one person only £800, then very discounted for 2, small groups etc. Half the summer is booked in '25 by repeat guests, so must be OK !!

One week available - well for Pier Point - 3rd August

Sleeping 4 it's a great location to relax - the guests this week are already wanting to book two weeks in '25 !!

Lovely weather at the moment, so lovely to enjoy the relaxing views!

What a view.

All the way from the Isle of Wight a group of photographers travelled to Salen Pier, to take some rather nice pictures! The two of the otter are from Pier Point, taken through the hand rails!!

Thanks to Nigel Neve for sharing these with me, and thus the world!! I understand the group are already looking for a return date in '25 !

Local education.

I was pleased that SV Silurian was able to use the pier last week - it allowed Lochdon and Ulva Ferry school children to do a field trip on the vessel.

Weather was nice as well - but that's out of my control!!

Next planned visits are for the Flying Dutchman and their cycling groups.

Either on the veranda or in the hot tub this view is rather nice, and relaxing!

The sun after the storm.

Salen Pier House (sleeping 14) was ready for the guests arriving yesterday, all the way from the Isle of Wight !! After it's extensive winter upgrades , there is even more to enjoy - including the 6 person hot tub for the house!

5 weeks are already sold in '25, but I do have the 13th July 2024, special rate for 1 to 14 people!

Spring is in the air!

My 14bed house, 4 bathrooms, hot tub etc property is just finishing it's major winter upgrades - new kitchen, 3 upgraded shower 🚿 rooms etc . It's been a great team effort, thanks to all for your help.

As 2022 draws to a close, I hope you have had a good year, and that '23 will be as good, or better! Many upgrades are being carried out over the winter to the properties, and getting ready for a new property, more on that soon!
