Today's storm should blow itself out overnight, leaving the rest of the week to be calm apart from some gusty blips on Thursday and Saturday. Very unlikely to be dry for any significant periods so wellies are a bigger priority than Jimmy Choos (the same goes for the ladies).

The word for this week's weather would be 'clement', apart from a gusty Tuesday, but let's face it, we all have those kind of days. It looks fairly dry but temperature is dropping right down so it's time to swap the mankinis and crop tops for, let's say, a body warmer and maybe something to cover the knees
