We had a gorgeous repeat visitor at the lodge recently, the handsome Reggie who 1st visited in 2018, then in 2020 and back again in 2024.

His mum sent me a message with the photos below taken in 2018 and 2024, Reggie clearly likes the same cosy spot with a view. What a stunning boy he is!!

Broken furniture removed and replacement stuff taken up. Thankfully I kept a hold of my old faithful furniture!!

I have bungeed it down to the decking. I know it’s a pain that it can’t be moved about, but hopefully we won’t lose any more to the wind carrying it into the Loch!!

Would be lovely if some of our could head over and give one of our neighbouting lodges a like. Loch Side View sleeps 4 people and also has wonderful views of Loch Lomond, they have also just done some lovely upgrades to their lodge.

A massive Happy New Year fans

Here is a wee misty morning reflection from earlier today. The Loch is really quite high at the moment and the wind has been mental. We have lost two tables and one chair due to the wind blowing them in the Loch and all of our remaining patio furniture has been damaged by being blown about our decking, so I am on the look out for some new stuff in the January sales.

I would like to send a massive ‘Thank You’ to our most recent guests.

Our boiler has broken down today and our guests have had to cut their visit short by a day as there was no heating or hot water and we can’t get anyone to fix it until tomorrow.

It really is rotten when things like this happen and I really appreciate that the guests were so understanding about it.
