Happy Sunday evening gang, busy day in Arundel today with the amazing tractor run, St George Day parade and off course the Tulip Festival and Plant Sale.
12 years I have been doing Tours and with Karen we have achieved an awful lot. From the Wild seed project, 3 books about Arundel, been on American Public Service and BBC telly. We have Toured with History Teachers from London and local colleges, staff from Victoria Albert museum. Professional Tour Guides from London and Italy and many many other reasons to be proud of what we do. Bringing over 6000 to the town, 200 amazing Reviews and on 32 websites across the globe including the one we are building, destinationarundel
Where is this going I here you ask. Well tomorrow morning I have to meet a train at Arundel station to meet a group. For me, and Karen, It will be particularly special and a Tour like no other. I do hope that everyone, all our friends and followers, will be behind me.

Martin brings history to life
Martin took us on a two hour tour of Arundel. We enjoyed every minute of it despite the cold breeze. He has lived in the town all of his life and was able to move from the general to the specific with ease, using visible examples of how and why the town has changed.
He used a range of historic photos to show the difference between then and now. His stories of the old duke and duchess were fascinating

Seeing 2023 out, with even more rain, Karen and myself would like to thank everyone for being here with us, for your likes and comments, or just watching. It's been a year of many, many highs, a few lows, but thats life huh. Looking forward to plans for 2024, retirement, London, West Country, North East and back to Wales, in the planning. If health is with us, we will return to Turn Up and Go Tours, everyday, more Presentations, some are already booked in, more Group and Coach contact for Meet and Greets and more days out to visit local attractions and overnighters for some further afield. Thank you everyone, have fun this evening, lift a glass to those no longer with us, Visit someone who may need a friend or a hug to see the New Year in.
