What has been happening at the Mill today?

Incredible amounts of staging, running around, fluffing pillows, moving cutlery, ornaments, and appliances over to the left and right - one millimetre at a time, to ensure everything is just so 👌🏼
All so we can capture new shots of the Mill for our website 🙌🏼

Safe to say, we've all earned a deserved glass of Prosecco to start our weekend! 🥂

Last year, we were so honoured to welcome so many visitors to our first ever open day at The Water Mill! We met groups from the local area, mill experts, and even descendants of the families that lived at Bradbourne Mill way back when! 🥰

For the second year running, we are once again opening The Water Mill's doors to the public for historical tours!

We invite you to an exclusive tour this June, of the oldest surviving Water Mill in Derbyshire; its origin dating prior to 1180!

Learn about the Water Mill and the history of the local area, take a walk along the ancient mill race and soak up the nature, history, and stories that surround the Mill! ✨

Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided ☕

£5.00 per ticket. All proceeds go to the All Saints' Church Bradbourne 🎫

Are you wondering how we clean around our historic mill workings?

It takes Nathan roughly an hour to carefully manoeuvre between the machinery, all the while cleaning as much dust and cobwebs from the workings and window! 💪✨️
