For guaranteed pre Christmas delivery we recommend ordering no later than Tuesday 19th December 2023, to allow for the usual increased pressures on the countries delivery networks. We will however, continue to dispatch until 3PM on Thursday 21st December 2023.

If you need to order bespoke items, for example kitchen and bathroom packs, please contact us and let us know of your requirements so we can schedule the packing and meet your delivery deadlines. We recommend ordering bespoke items by Monday 11th December 2023.

Orders received after 3PM on Thursday 21st December 2023 will be despatched on Tuesday 2nd January for next day delivery (subject to stock and availability).

PURPOSE OF JOB
The Finance Administrator is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the finance department and supporting the finance director. They will perform various tasks, including processing invoices, updating financial records, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. The Finance Administrator will work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting department.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using financial software and accounting systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Maintain purchase ledger – processing invoices and credits for goods and services received including foreign currency transactions; supplier statement reconciliations; clearing purchase ledger debit balances.
• Run aged debtors reports and liaise with credit controller; assist resolving customer queries and clearing sales ledger credit balances.
• Post all receipts and payments from bank statement onto Sage 200 ledgers and post bank reconciliation spreadsheet.
• Check bank statement to Nominal Sales ledger balance each week.
• Process all credit card transactions to Sage 200 ensuring supporting evidence is received for all transactions.
• Process all new customer account forms, run credit checks and liaise with sales.
• Raise sales invoices and credit notes as required.
• Complete month-end processes on Sage 200 – customer statements, aged debtor and aged creditor reports, stock balance and cut off reports.
• Maintain all packing staff time records and liaise with payroll team.


DESIRABLE

• Experience of Sage 200.
• Experience of CRM system administration
• Experience of managing budgets.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team.
• Professional financial certifications is a plus.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
