Instow Beach on a windy February afternoon.. We took our grandchildren and our pooches for a stroll on one of our favourite beaches.. What adventures we had finding treasures, sand dune races, dam building and collecting drift wood.. nothing beats the simplicity of free entertainment! happy adults, happy dogs, happy red cheeked children and warm hearts 🌊

Another pleasing review and helpful feedback.. We have been working on a folder full of information on eateries, beaches and attractions. We’ve also popped the SW Coast Path North Devon & Somerset Adventure Atlas in there with a Devon Map containing cycle routes, beaches, ordnance survey and much more info on attractions and trip planning.. It will be placed in Pebble Bay this weekend.. 🌊

A stunning morning spent at the #Appledorefarmersmarket The sun was shining, the local traders were out in full force and it was great to see the return of @hockingsicecream The Appledore Farmers Market is held on the Quay during the summer months and in Chrchfields car park during the winter, on the first Saturday of every month. The market features a variety of the very best local vendors selling handmade crafts, artisan food, fresh produce and much more. A few facts about us.. As you may be aware we have two properties, Pebble Bay and Meadow Bay You will find us located on the outskirts of the brand new Estuary View estate, Appledore. Pebble Bay boast views towards the bay and Meadow Bay faces the beautiful, rolling fields and meadows. We are identical properties but Meadow Bay does have the added bonus of a detached single garage, which is handy for bike or surfboard storage. Both conveniently located within a few minutes walk from each other, which we feel is beneficial for larger families and groups of friends. The delightful fishing village of Appledore has always been such a special place to us. Quaint houses along the winding, cobbled streets steeped in history! But nothing beats sitting back looking onto the estuary with a Hockings ice cream, whilst watching the world go by.. Perfect..
