“We were a group of 10 lifelong friends (and a couple of spouses) from our school days in the ‘80’s in Canada, We had a long list of “must-haves” for our week together and Horne’s Place felt like it might be too good to be true. But then turned out to be even better than we could have ever imagined!!!
It was private, luxurious, had more than enough space for quiet time or all of us piled together.
The location was great - we walked to the local village. we had daily deliveries of groceries without trouble and on the day we decided to wander a little farther afield, we arranged a car to Rye and back with no issues.
We spent a great deal of our week wondering how soon we could come back or even how we could actually live at Horne’s Place permanently! Thank you for a magical week!”

However, if your looking to book with us this summer you may want to know a few things:
1. Check in is from 4pm on your agreed arrival date (see booking confirmation).
2. Check out is by 10am on your agreed departure date.
3. Bedding and towels are provided for the beds specified in the details for the property.
4. Guests are asked to respect the neighbours and the communities by keeping noise to a minimum - especially after 10pm.

A review from one of our spring time guests said: “The property was everything we could have wished for and catered for all our ages ranging from 77-4 It was immaculately clean, incredibly well equipped, and obviously a great deal of thought had gone into the needs of family groups. The location was great - wonderful (if very muddy) dog walks from the door and only 15 minutes drive from beautiful beaches at Camber sands and Winchelsea. Not that there is any need to leave the grounds if you didnt want to! Local shop, church and pub.“
