Each country has unique entry requirements beyond visas, such as health certificates or proof of onward travel. Researching in advance ensures you’re prepared for any additional stipulations.

4. Time to Resolve Issues

If you discover you need a visa or an ESTA, applying early allows time to address any unexpected delays, such as missing documents, longer-than-expected processing times, or clarifications needed from consulates.

5. Staying Updated on Changes

Visa and entry requirements can change due to diplomatic, health, or security reasons. Keeping up to date, especially after booking your travel, ensures you’re not caught off guard by recent policy updates.
