Mauritius 🇲🇺✨

This beautiful island is one of my favourite places, it has something for everyone from the lush La Morne mountain to the Black river gorges national park to the clear waters for snorkelling and paddle boarding. The people are so welcoming and friendly that it really feels like going home

This stunning country is proving very popular with young families and honeymoons at the moment, one of many reasons is it’s Zika free!

It’s also excellent value for older families in the summer holidays where temperatures are still 25°C and there are so many activities to keep teens entertained

Travel Booking Tips for January 🌎

January is the busiest month to book your holiday, so here is a little advice to make sure you don’t get stung ✨

✨ Look out for hidden charges and fees. What appears to be a good deal at first glance may not include costs of taxes, resort fees, checked bags etc.
Also it might be cheaper to fly from Stansted but if you then have to add on an expensive taxi or car parking then it may be worth travelling from a nearer London airport.

✨ Prices and availability change quickly in January. Be ready to book quite quickly otherwise what you want might have gone.

✨ Last Minute deals don’t really exist anymore, so if you know when or where you want to go it’s best you book it now. You will get the choice of better flights, better accommodation and not have to compromise as much. Best of all it will most likely be cheaper as I can search through more options for you!

✨ Don’t book elements separately. You won’t have package protection and could be at risk of of losing your money. It might save you a tiny bit of money but in my experience it’s not worth it!

Sadly this week, another well known business has announced they are ceasing trading. James Villas will stop trading from the end of this year which means many people are losing jobs and many customers are losing their holidays.

I would recommend, now more than ever, booking with a travel agent and booking a packaged holiday so you are fully protected. Many people have been affected but we have managed to rearrange our customers trips for them and taken away that hassle

This will make it so much easier for those wanting to travel and will also reduce costs of testing You no longer have to do pre-departure tests before returning to the UK and isolating until you get a PCR result is also gone.
