We are not sure if these are our resident Barn Owls, Barnie and Barnadette, or one of their FOUR baby owlets! Either way it has been lovely watching them do so well this year!

Suggested names for the owlets include; Barnard, Barnaby, Barnbara and Kevin.

Between some of our lodges we have shared atriums, which make wonderful (Covid-safe) BBQ and dining areas for friend-groups and larger families staying in more than one cottage. We had a wonderful group of friends stay this week (see photos) and they really appreciated this space. Groups looking to do similar should consider booking early to secure adjacent lodges - ring me on 01409 211140 or 07740 262034 for 2022/3 availability. No hen/stag/single-sex groups.

Sadly, we have had to move a family booking over half term to comply with the new Rule of Six legislation. However, this means that we now have some mid-week (4-night) lodge stays available from October 26th, 2020. It's very quiet here during lockdown!
Still there are worse places to have to hibernate... our lake has had a major haircut and is looking just beautiful. We hope to see you all soon!

They say if the oak blooms before the ash, we are in for a splash, but if the ash blooms before the oak, we are in for a soak! Looks like a fine, dry Summer ahead :)
