‘Can’t thank you enough for all you did to make this a really magical trip. Wilma and Bob and the rest of the staff are as amazing as we have ever seen. We have had so much fun and you could not have recommended a better house. It was close to everything we needed and we got to see many sites. Within the walls of Auchterarder House, where laughter echoes and memories unfold, lies the beating heart of our sanctuary – the kitchen.

Amidst the symphony of sizzling pans and the aromatic dance of spices, bonds are forged and tales are spun, weaving the very fabric of familial love.

Our kitchen features an AGA, a separate cooker with oven a large workspace for you or your personal chef to whip up a treat. An informal dining area and additional seating area with television to make you feel at home.

We’re finally starting to see more sun than rain, time to enjoy the great Scottish outdoors. There are wonderful walks available in all directions and we can recommend many in the area - plenty to take your furry friends on.

Perthshire straddles the Highlands and the Lowlands, offering a rich variety of scenery. Highland Perthshire is magnificently forested and the region has become known as ‘Big Tree Country’. The graceful River Tay, Scotland’s grandest river, flows through the region from its source in Loch Tay, with great rolling mountains making a perfect backdrop.

Further south the mountains become heather clad moors and hills as Perthshire descends to the fertile farmland stretching from Strathearn to Perth and up to Blairgowrie. This variety means there are walking routes for all levels of fitness, from easy family rambles, through more strenuous hikes to ascents of the major Munro summits.
