Happy New Year to all our guests. The Bothy is now taking bookings again from April-July via Airbnb. We look forward to welcoming you in 2024. We have had to increase our prices slightly this year as our costs have risen exponentially. However, we are confident that that you will find us competitively priced for similar accommodation in the area. The area is continuing to grow as an outdoor enthusiast's paradise with the exciting new additions of the superb bike park in Boat of Garten and the new MTB trails at Cairngorm mountain. The Bothy is the perfect base for bikepacking and gravel adventures in the Cairngorms with miles of trails straight from the door.

The Bothy @boat is a brand new holiday lodge at Boat of Garten holiday park in the heart of the Cairngorm national park. Ideal for 4 people but accommodating up to 6, the Bothy is the perfect cosy retreat after a busy days exploring the stunning local scenery. The lodge has a westerly facing enclosed deck with enjoys stunning, uninterrupted views. The 2 bedroom lodge has a generous master bedroom with small en suite and a small second bedroom with 2 single beds, perfect for children. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area. The immaculate kitchen has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay but if cooking isn’t o your mind on holiday there are two excellent restaurants minutes away in the village as well as a village shop. Aviemore is just 6 miles away and is a popular mountain resort with lots of amenities. Whether it’s walking, mountaineering, skiing, fishing, biking, watersports or visiting local attractions such as the Highland Wildlife park or the Landmark Adventure Forest park, there is something for everyone here. The Strathspey Steam Railway runs through the village as does the Speyside way, a long distance cycle and walking route. The village has it’s own 18 hole golf course and tennis courts. Two well behaved dogs are welcome at The Bothy.
