Did you know you can now join an experienced ranger on a guided walk up the Cairngorm Mountain? A fantastic opportunity to explore the stunning scenery with an experienced mountain climber leading the way and sharing their vast knowledge of the local environment.

All four of our properties are located on the outskirts of Aviemore and a very scenic drive to the mountain - we a few dates still available next month for those interested in a guided walk.

The Cairngorm funicular had been closed since September 2018 due to structural problems.

A great report from the Cairngorm Mountain resort this morning 😍 ⛷️🏂 the roads are clear and there are 5 lifts and 20 runs in operation. There has been lots of fresh snow in the last couple of days too so there will be some amazing snow sports on offer. Oh and the forecast is for sunshine ☀️

Everything looks so magical, it really is a winter wonderland 😍

We have reduced our minimum stays to two nights over the weekend for those who need to be back to work on Monday morning. Get in touch directly via DM or email [email protected].

📸 This is the view from Railway Cottage, located 10 miles south of Aviemore. All of our properties are in picturesque locations and a very scenic drive to the mountain resort.

Drop everything and come and enjoy the snow while it’s here! Nothing quite like some Highland air to recharge your batteries.

The Cairn Distillery is officially open!
A great addition to the Cairngorm National Park. Check out their distillery experiences and tours.. The Gathering takes our fancy, an opportunity to indulge in some fine whiskies and tasty scran while soaking up the beautiful surrounding 😍 The distillery is a stunning building in a really beautiful spot. Can’t wait to visit 🥃
