Fish in... fish out yesterday.
This wee clip is why we do fully guided Osprey sessions.
Early morning and brilliant sunshine would normally mean a breeze from the south which it was later in the day, watch the birdie and you'll see which way the dive is, and why so many unguided places get bum shots.

A couple of osprey around this morning a few hrs apart, 1 fished the other didn't bother, more fish in today.

LOCAL DISCOUNT SEASON.
I have added a new hide to the Osprey pond that now allowes for different angles and more capacity each fully guided morning.
Any local customer within a 90 mile radius can now book a early morning session any morning during May and June for the booking cost of £90.00 during May and June.
This makes me the cheapest Osprey hides with more Ospreys fishing than anywhere else by some distance.
During the season i get lots of calls in the evening when the forecast looks great for the following morning, now no need to call just check the forecast and book you spot.
I will also be adding the other wildlife hides online.
The Osprey section of the website is set up to take a £90.00 deposit and for my regulars and locals that all you have to pay during May and June.
The wind direction each morning is key to getting you the best images possible and why it's the first thing we check every morning and why it's fully guided every morning.
After having a brilliant and amazing season last year this seasons bookings are crazy busy with many new groups from the UK and abroad.

A month to go and I'll be open with the new changes, any Ospreys back before then spend so much time nest building I hardly see them fishing.
Things change when the females are around and things start to settle down.

Been busy working on something new for this season.
I think this could be the world's smallest osprey pond that I intend to use for afternoons and evenings.
Since Rothie build a falconry centre far to close to the osprey pond I see more and more birds fishing the afternoons and evenings, so have positioned this pond further away from the play park where it's quieter.
I will leave the natural perch on the birch tree but tidy up the rest.
Let's see how it all works out, after all these years I know exactly the size and depth of pond I can use that the birds will except.
If it works I'll show you before the season opens using the samsung S21.🤣

All the digger work done and spade work now, as I said trying for something a little different this year.
Today is the first morning the pond hasn't been frozen, had lovely sunshine, but -5 to -6 each morning.
I have plenty of fish in, but don't open for a month, let them fish as they want,its been the same for 14 yrs of doing this job.

OK, everybody did really well with spot the birds, what's in the sky in this one. 🤣

Had a quick look at the hill side camera, and saw something in the sky passing by, see if anyone else can tell what it is. I would do it in slow motion and zoom in, if I knew how or could be bothered. Look to the sky going left to right... at the start.😀

Jacqui just sent me this, a polar bear at her hide.... well a pure white badger, how cool is that, hope it sticks around. If I did photography that would be such a cool image at night.

set the camera out to watch the Otter, quite camera shy.... or i have set the camera up facing to far to the left.

Managed to get out to the stags with some clients before the storm hits. Had a WTE hunting the geese near where my hide is going, we missed it because the WTE missed the goose. 🤣 A few stags on the phone, the guys got thousands of images to get through. Got a few species to get Tomorrow then maybe up the mountains with Ian the day after.

Red kites.. spooking the Ravens and Jackdaws. Tomorrow is out the opposite direction to Moorland 2 and woodland 1, feed up the Buzzards and Tawney at the woodland hides and check my camera's and start feeding up the 35 acres of Moorland 2.😀

Had 3 or 4 Red kites flying around and landing in the Heather and rocks, a nice big perch then hide to be built, same place as the wildcat.

Sometimes it's nice to watch, NO guiding, I have edited this wee clip to hide location, so please dont ask.

Still short days, but a wee Owl coming into the woodlands I have.

Went out to feed the woodland hide today, will be open from Monday, 6 raptors there this morning waiting on me, 2 or 3 red kites and 2 or 3 buzzards, and in the Jays, woodpeckers and God knows what else. Seeing flocks of small birds I don't even know what they are, but always something on the go. 😀 Send me a message if you fancy it, I have some guys from Norway arriving soon so a couple of days gone already... it's a wee magic place for the day.
