Went out yesterday to my woodland hides, 3 Buzzards waiting for me, no sign of the red kites but didn't stay long, this Buzzard sat for half and hr protecting the food.
light is perfect and it's every afternoon as I watch on the live camera now and again.
A little video captured by Morna Mackenzie using her MOBILE PHONE while in the hide with Rab Adamson, had to wait a while for it as it was posted on Morna's TikTok page, whatever that is, i needed Rab to sort it out and send it to me as i am ok with ospreys but useless at social media stuff, cheers Rab.. and Morna, your welcome back anytime for free. Putting photographers to shame with your mobile phone, I see the osprey that splashed the hide.đ¤Ł
This is ONE early morning session in the hide.
Magic stuff.
While I'm closed for the year I'm still getting ospreys fishing every morning, while I was just heading away at 9am, Osprey number 5 caught a fish, only just got the phone out of my pocket.
That's more ospreys than anywhere else.... and I closed nearly 2 weeks ago.đ¤Ł
While I'm closed for the season 4 osprey fished this morning while Ian was in.
I'm busy at the woodland hides and getting a fair bit of red Kites and Buzzards fighting over the food in the afternoons.đ
This how we do the last osprey, hand held free style beside the pond, crazy it flew around us then dived.... every day is a learning day.
All going well.with the ospreys, and a few juveniles out and about this morning, last osprey dived at 8am in stunning light , had another 5 flying around after that with loads of chasing, forecast looks great for the next week and more.
Jacqui's hide is firing on all 12 cylinders, fox
and Pine Martin in this wee clip.. just magic images coming from there.
Another cracking morning, no idea how many dives or how many birds.. but spectacular stuff.
I do get some new found Osprey experts say I don't get Ospreys fish because if the play park, now this took me a wee while with the samsung from the car park, but if you watch you'll see an Osprey dive faster than the kids go down the slide, we had 3 ospreys dive and get fish while she screamed about the play park with the other kids.
Now I'll leave it at that, but stop trying to quietly message my customers, it just looks desperate.
What a morning, 15 dives from 6 different ospreys by 6.45am in stunning light, unbelievable number of false dives low to the water.
Everyone in the head on hide, magic stuff.
Can't even go.to pond in the evening without an osprey fishing.
Not long after I posted I would be letting the afternoon/early evenings an osprey came over me as I was getting the waders on to clean the bottom of the pond.. as I do 2 or 3 times a week.
I went into the hide .. to hide, after a few attempts I got the bugger nicking a fish with the Samsung S21, now I forgot to zoom in.. and had to get my son to trim the video.
Samsung S21 all you need... when I figure out how to use it.
Bloody birds, I go away for 5 mins and another fish is off in the sky, I'm sure mr angry is back too.
Well here we go again, osprey at the pond this morning. đ
Not built the hides yet, as always I just leave them to fish, glad a got over 400 fish in early for them.đ
This winter I've been busy at my new woodland hide, never bothered with cresties or squirrels, I'm after something different, saw this bugger on my way out, I'll get it in... getting close to the first WTE hide in Scotland.
Black bear fun today, captured by Sam on the mobile phone.đ
A brilliant day out at the whales, humpback's breaching right out of the water, flat calm water with warm sunshine, too slow with the phone.... to busy just watching.đ
Not the Rockies.where we are now, in the Great Bear Rainforest.
There's my group going down the river, possibly Bear Food.đ¤Ł
Bears ripping up fish in stunning weather.
