Went out yesterday to my woodland hides, 3 Buzzards waiting for me, no sign of the red kites but didn't stay long, this Buzzard sat for half and hr protecting the food.
light is perfect and it's every afternoon as I watch on the live camera now and again.

A little video captured by Morna Mackenzie using her MOBILE PHONE while in the hide with Rab Adamson, had to wait a while for it as it was posted on Morna's TikTok page, whatever that is, i needed Rab to sort it out and send it to me as i am ok with ospreys but useless at social media stuff, cheers Rab.. and Morna, your welcome back anytime for free. Putting photographers to shame with your mobile phone, I see the osprey that splashed the hide.🤣
This is ONE early morning session in the hide.
Magic stuff.

Well I should really be closed but decided to do this weekend for some old and new customers, ÂŁ60.00 person fully guided.
Nice sunny morning and birds diving from the start.
Magic morning... more ospreys diving close the hides than most places can get all day...... in the high of the Summer.😀
The light has been stunning.
UPDATE... 8.50am and another osprey in and away with a fish... it then circled around the pond like it was going to put the fish back, went over to rock face to buzz a Buzzard with the fish and then we had osprey come back over the pond with the Buzzard right behind it, magic fun.

This morning 3 ospreys fished, so going to do the weekend.
Weather looks cold at 3 degrees but great light and a south breeze.
Meeting time will be 5.30am, ÂŁ60.00 per person.
Just let me know if you fancy giving it a go.😀

28/08/2024

So I plan to watch tomorrow morning and if a few birds fish, I'll do this weekend at 60 quid per person per morning before I take the hides away for the year.😀

28/08/2024

While I'm closed for the year I'm still getting ospreys fishing every morning, while I was just heading away at 9am, Osprey number 5 caught a fish, only just got the phone out of my pocket.
That's more ospreys than anywhere else.... and I closed nearly 2 weeks ago.🤣

Well done Michelle, cracking image... well captured.

While I'm closed for the season 4 osprey fished this morning while Ian was in.
I'm busy at the woodland hides and getting a fair bit of red Kites and Buzzards fighting over the food in the afternoons.😀

22/08/2024

Well that's my osprey season over for another year.
I would like to thank everyone that visited and hope you all enjoyed the ospreys and managed some brilliant images.
While the Summer never really appeared we did end the season with some great numbers of birds fishing.
9 different ospreys quite a few mornings from July onwards, and while I have closed the hides, 6 fished a couple of days ago.
Hope to see you all next year if not before.
I have 2 woodland hides I have been working on.... for 2 years now, 😀 almost ready, Buzzards in today for an hour feeding away.
Will post how it's going over the next wee while.

Well this morning we had all kinda weather, 2 birds fished before the wind got up and around 5 ospreys tried to fish but far too windy.
Out of the hides and now a thunder and lighting storm, all in a morning work... just need some snow now.😀

One from yesterday, unlucky fish.. almost got away.
