CMRT were called out last night to two walkers who had become cold and disorientated around the Ben MacDui area. With team members at the base, and on standby, the walkers declined assistance and camped overnight and planned to walk out at first light.
This morning, CMRT were called out again for the two walkers who were still lost on the plateau. We were able to pinpoint them using their phone, give them advice, and a small team met them as they were walking off the Plateau. All safe and back at the base by 14.30.

Snowing heavily in the Cairngorms today and next day. Staying way below freezing all next week.
Winter is back.
I still have availability for end January- early February.

Fabulous in the Cairngorms yesterday.

Loch Morlich yesterday evening. ( On my wife's bike ride from Aviemore).

Tuesday 28th May. Fresh snow this morning in The Cairngorms. Darren on a wildlife photography workshop with Tarmachan Mountaineering today. Some fabulous scenery too!

Friday 9 March. A glorious afternoon. The winds died and the skies cleared. Fab sunset. Photos later.

Fabulous day on the Fiacaill Ridge. Mick out with me on a 4 day course. A grand first day!

Snow to all levels across the Highlands today. Meall a Bhuachaille is a great viewpoint. Atmospheric on the summit earlier today.
