The weather is changing & it definitely feels a little autumnal this morning 🍂

However our beautiful hanging baskets are hanging on, not sure for how much longer though!!

We’ve had some lovely guests stay with us for the last 9 days all the way from Canada! 🇨🇦 They were an absolute pleasure to host and we hope to see them again in the future!

We are now ready for this weekends guests.

Where did that time go? 😳

During the year we’ve had guests stay with us from far & wide - Dubai, China, Australia, Cyprus to name a few and of course lots of lovely guests from all over the UK.

Within that time we have been rewarded a travellers review award from booking .com & made it to superhost with Airbnb! 👏🏽

The Graphs Gaff is a beautiful large 3 bedroomed house in the heart of Aycliffe Village.

Sleeps up to 6 people with 2 twin rooms and a king size room with en-suite.

Perfect place to stay for those visiting & working in the area.

Fully equipped kitchen plus a utility room with washing machine.

Well this was lovely news to receive this morning!!

Airbnb has awarded me as a SUPERHOST 🤩

I do put a lot of effort into The Graph’s Gaff making it as homely & welcoming as possible to ensure my guests have a comfortable & pleasant stay.

Only late yesterday afternoon I had previous guests call me desperate to stay. They had wanted to stay earlier this week but unfortunately I had no availability.

They booked locally elsewhere but just couldn’t face finishing their stay as the accommodation was not good at all.

I had actually closed the Graph’s Gaff from yesterday for a few nights so we could get a few maintenance jobs done and also due to me falling on Christmas Day I need to give my foot some rest.

Anyway I couldn’t let these guys down they are repeat customers working locally and I couldn’t imagine staying somewhere so awful.

Up to my eyes in paperwork with only 1 hour before they want to check in 🙈 I’m on it!!!

Happy guests…

Just an example of why small businesses should get more support. WE go the extra mile to ensure our guest’s & customers are looked after and are made to feel welcome ♥️

I’ve joined a few groups on Facebook for holiday home hosts and some of the stories about guests have absolutely terrified me 🙈

We only opened in May and I can honestly say we haven’t had a bad guest yet! 😊 ♥️

We’ve had families, friends of locals, business men & contractors and everyone of them has been completely respectful of The Graph’s Gaff. Long may it continue 🤞

Bit of a late checkout today which meant I had to go in tonight to get the house ready for our next guests tomorrow.

I finally got finished at 11:15pm but so satisfying looking at the house gleaming again & it’s so cosy at night time 😍 ✨
