How do counting scales work?

This is a very common problem for our customers and we wanted to share how our counting scales work!



Q. Hi, I need to do a stock take, how do counting scales work?

A. Good Question! Counting Scales work by measuring the weight of one unit of stock, then after stock has been put on the scale it will divide the total weight by the weight of one unit to count the amount of units on the scale

Q. Hi my scale says it’s 15kg x 2g, what do these numbers mean?

A. Great Question! the 15kg or the first number will be the maximum load that you can put on your scale. The Second number is the increments the scale would weigh in, so in your case it would go up in increments of 2 grams.

Service & Calibration completed at 9 Tesco distribution sites across the UK.
Tesco had a requirement to evaluate the stock taking issues they were experiencing.
