***TRAVELLING TO THE UK***
As of January 8th, the new Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system will require visa-exempt non-European nationals to obtain an ETA for short stays of up to six months for purposes such as tourism, business, or permitted paid engagements.

For European nationals, applications will open on March 5, 2025, and the ETA requirement will become mandatory from April 2, 2025.

The ETA costs just £10 and to apply you will need a passport, access to email, a payment method and the ability to upload a picture of your passport and face. The ETA is electronically linked to your passport and remains valid for two years or until the passport expires.

This weekend, Travel Counsellors celebrated our 30th anniversary at our annual conference. It was great to catch up with colleagues, suppliers, staff, and some brilliant speakers and acts.

The TC community continues to go from strength to strength. It’s great to be part of it, and I’m excited for what the future brings when helping my clients with their travel needs and desires.
