Our Horizon caravan is being moved just in time for the Easter holidays and will now be located directly opposite the Ambelside 🤩

So for anyone that has booked both vans because your coming with friends or family- you’ll now be neighbours 🎉

Dogs 🐕

People often get offended when we say we don’t accept pets. There’s a number of reasons why we don’t want dogs in our vans, but here are the main ones

1- In the height if summer I’ve seen the inside of our van reach 38+ degrees……. 🥵 That’s with windows & patio doors open and fans on. Can you imagine how hot it would get in there with the doors closed. Your poor dog will be literally cooking while your off out enjoying yourselves totally oblivious to their distress 😭

2- People have allergies 🤧 and no matter how good my cleaners are it’s not worth spoiling other people’s holiday’s because the previous hire brought their dog

3- As much as I love dogs (I have one of my own) I cannot stand the wet dog smell on my sofa & furnishings. This is Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 it rains here more often than not. There’s also a beach on park where dogs love to swim & cool off. A wet dog is inevitable

Our sensory Bedroom is finished and looks amazing! Our Wee Harrison has tested out the bunk beds having a nap this afternoon and given them his approval. Coverless duvets so no one gets tangled in amongst the quilts!

The room is complete with a colour changing touch lamp/speaker so you play music 🎶 or white noise.
Have the voiles open or closed on the bottom bunk or chill out on the top watching tv/dvd

The glow in the dark drawing board is fab, just press the button on the pen 🖊️ to illuminate your drawings 🤩

Shame the parks still closed, I could just cosy up in there tonight myself it’s so inviting 🥰

As the season draws to a close I’d like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their enquiries and bookings this year.
I hope those of you who stayed with us will return year after year

I’d also like to thank those if you who booked for their patience and understanding September/October while I was otherwise engaged having a baby and subsequently suffering a severe lack of sleep & baby brain! We got there in the end.

Our diary is officially open for 2023 so get in there early with a £30 deposit
Gift vouchers also available which make lovely Christmas 🎅 gifts for the family

Our Wee Horizon caravan is having a makeover and getting fitted with full gas central heating as opposed to the current convention heaters so watch this space for updates & pictures

As for the Ambleside……… it’s just perfect the way it is, but there’s a wee surprise in store for this van too 🥰
