OK so who looks best?😅 Clearly Ellie and Sean whom I was delighted to marry on Thursday 12th on a gorgeous sunny day at Enterkine House Hotel. I had a lovely assistant - Ellie's uncle Doug in the photo with me. He had travelled all the way from Florida and delivered and put his own spin on their story as a couple, as well as some encouraging words at the end of ceremony. A wee bit of respite for me for once. Good luck Mr and Mrs Bennie!

Congratulations to the amazing Daisey and Kieran. Such a lovely story of how they met at school and finally ended up getting married to each other. They have a great sense of humour and their love for each other just shines through. Even I had a wee quivering bottom lip as Daisey came up the aisle at the in Ayr.

And wedding number three was for the smashing Kerry and Neil who tied the knot yesterday at Riverside Lodge Hotel in Irvine. And yesterday I had the pleasure of marrying Amanda and Dave at The Engine Works in Glasgow, the first time I have been there. It was quirky, relaxed and quite stunning. The flowers were off the scale.They were such an amazing, chilled couple to work with. I wish them all the best.

Great to see so many people in uniform, including groom Andrew who is an RAF Officer! Saturday was a very hot day in Ayr for his marriage to stunning vet Alyson. They were a joy to work with. Had a panic today when we briefly thought their legal paperwork had gone missing, but it turned up stuck at the back of the safe, at the, as always, fab Brig o' Doon House Hotel where it had been, and should have been, all along! Phew! They can now relax and enjoy their honeymoon!!!

So, last Saturday, Daniel and Elizabeth finally tied the knot. It was a long distance relationship for a couple of years, with Daniel travelling between Yorkshire and Ayr to be with Elizabeth every weekend. They have had various challenges along the way, not least with their health, but they finally became Mr and Mrs Anderson-McIntyre on 31 August at the house hotel in Ayr.
It was such a privilege to help them put together and then deliver their ceremony, with some of the most heartfelt and personal vows. Wishing them so much happiness together.

How amazing do these two look? Like a couple of film stars! What a pleasure to marry the incredible Grant and Christopher at, the as always, fabulous Brig o' Doon on Friday 23 August. They were a hoot to work with and we had a good few laughs in the run up to and on the day. Can't wait to see all the photos.....over a wee glass of wine, of course!

Lots of smiles and a few happy 'greets' yesterday for the wedding of Bryony and Anthony at Saint Ninian's Stranraer. They became teenage sweethearts after meeting on holiday in the Dominican Republic but living so far apart went their own different ways. However, finally, in 2022 they eventually got together again and immediately decided it was for good. Their love for each other is so clear for everyone to see.

Looking great Jade and Des whom I had the privilege of marrying today at incredible Enterkine House. Des has become a husband to Jade and an amazing parent to Paige in spite of all the weapons and b***y traps she initially tried to put in his way. They are a special, happy family and I wish them well.

LOVE WEDDINGS

It is such pleasure to work with couples, all of whom are different, and want their ceremony to be special, meaningful and a genuine reflection of who they are and what their hopes and wishes are for their future. These have taken place at venues from beaches and cottages to castles and five star hotels, and every one has been a pleasure and a privilege to undertake.

I would describe my style as informal and relaxed. I want every couple and their guests to have a very happy and memorable experience of the ceremony, one that is full of love and laughter and which sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Although based in Ayr, home of ‘honest men and bonnie lasses’ I am happy to cover weddings anywhere in Ayrshire and the south west, Glasgow and the central belt, Arran, Kintyre and beyond. I am now into my fifth year of being a wedding celebrant and have loved every single ceremony I have taken. What a wonderful job I have!!!!
