This hill on the Ayr-Girvan road, according to the report accompanying the picture, "is a source of wonder to all who visit it."

The report continues: "If a car is stopped on the hill and the brake released, the car starts to run uphill, or so it appears to the eye."

After reading a few comments I’d like to take some time to come on and clear a few things up. The Buf Prestwick & One 11 Main Street are Kevins legacy & are still being ran by the family.

We urge you all to not boycott them but instead support us through this hard time. That’s what Kevin would have wanted.

We are still operating as cash only for the next coming days as personal accounts are frozen. We hope to see you all in for a drink & a laugh.

Allure is 10 😮

Can you believe we are 10 years old already !

Allure Ayr started out in a tiny wee loft room in Wellington Sq, back in 2014 then progressing to an additional room the following year.

Allure spa was then established in 2017 with our 6 rooms , spa facility and training academy 👌🏻

Further expansion in 2021 when we purchased our very own two storey building on new bridge street that we renovated into a state of the art 9 treatment room , hair salon, nail and make up bars and customised Training Academy and not forgetting our famous instagram hallway ! Who doesn’t want a bathtub in their hall 🙌🏻

This will be our final resting place where Allure & Co was established in November 2022.

We have brought out every latest new and innovated treatments, machines and products to provide you all a one stop shop facility 🥰

We couldn’t have done it without all our absolutely amazing clients, every single one of you ❤️

We are far too busy right now to have a big celebratory party so I’m in the garden with a glass of wine recovering from a mental mad Friday salon sesh 🤦‍♀️😂

Wouldn’t have it any other way 💪🏻

Here’s to the next ten years working on retirement 😂
