Christmas Eve will be your final day to stock up on your essentials before our traders take some time off to relax over the Festive period.
Both butchers will be back on Saturday 30th December, with most other traders returning on Wednesday 3rd January π

IMPORTANT UPDATE!
The demolition of the former Barclays Bank building (12 Market Street) will commence on Monday 8th January 2024 and will take around 10 weeks to complete.
β‘οΈDuring this time the market will remain OPEN AS USUAL and traders will not be impacted by these works.
β‘οΈ In the interest of public safety, the bus stop immediately outside of the bank will be temporarily closed whilst the demolition works are carried out. The bus stop will be temporarily relocated to the next lampost, with no shelter.
β‘οΈVehicle routes will not be affected by these works. Market Street will remain open for vehicles and pedestrians can use the pavement on the opposite side of the road.

They will be open for last-minute purchases on Wednesday and Saturday this week!
Each and every item they sell is handmade, and they need some time to stock back up on their creations after an exceptional few months of trade.

The vaccine bus will be in Bacup from 10 am until 4 pm from Monday 11 β Thursday December 14.
You can get your flu or covid vaccine from the Promoting Health in Lancashire van.
It is a free walk-up service for those who fit the criteria below:
Over 65+ Currently working in health or social care 18+ with existing health conditions and, therefore clinically vulnerable
You donβt need an appointment; just turn up and protect yourself for the winter.
