Bagged another 2 Munros yesterday 😊 Creise & Meall a’ Bhuiridh. The route was challenging terrain, bog or loose rock, 9 hours of trudge…..Loved every minute 🤣😂🤣 The biggest surprise was all the frogs. Literally dozens of them all colours & sizes, I’ve never seen so many frogs! Persuaded one of them to pose for me 😎👌🏼

Had a brilliant day volunteering for Glencoe National Trust for Scotland on Saturday. Alongside 4 other volunteers & 2 staff members we spent the day removing 54 bin bags full of rubbish from the roadside between Glencoe Visitors Centre & the turn off to the Clachaig Inn. The weather was typically Scottish (great Billy Connolly quote featured on one of the wall posters in the Visitors Centre Cafe) 4 seasons in one day 😎 The cafe staff took great care of us with breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack 🙏 Worth doing again just for the food I’d say!! 😂🤣😂 Thanks also to BEAR who saved us from being road kill 😳🫣 As Scott, our intrepid team leader said in respect of his risk assessment, it’s always good not to kill the volunteers 😆

It was a moody day in the mountains yesterday. Lost Valley, Bidean nam Bian and finally Stob Coire nan Lochan. Cloud dancing, what a great way to spend eight and a half hours 😃👌🏻

Took a trip with Mum on the gondola at the Nevis Range today. Beautiful views, within a short walk from the gondola. It was a tad chilly on Aonach Mor today 🥶 Sadly, despite the cold, there isn’t enough snow to ski at the moment 🎿⛷️🚡

Woohoo! At long last the first render of the new studio apartment. Ignore the black doors & window frames...yuck. The garage door will be natural wood, but you get the idea. Should be up & running this time next year 😃🤞

It was a really wet week in Glencoe this week but yesterday the cloud cleared, the rain stopped & the sun came out revealing snow capped mountains & a beautiful blue sky 😎 Couldn’t resist a quick paddle 🛶👌🏼😎 Sweet.

Fabulous day climbing Dorsal Arête off Stob Coire nan Lochan today. Thanks to my climbing partner Stewart 🙏🥶 It’s a bit of a slog up & down but well worth the effort. So good to get the ice axes & crampons out 😁👌🏼 Hoping for more fun on the ropes this winter ❄️ ☃️🌨️🏔️

What can I say?? It was a day for pano shots 😳😎 Absolutely stunning scenery. Took a 10 minute ride on the Corran ferry, drove along the shores of Loch Sunart to Tioram Castle on Loch Moidart, then drove north to Glenfinnan & Loch Shiel via Loch Ailort 😃👌🏻

Great job! I love this little Cinema in Fort William. It's a great place to spend a few hours when the weather is being....well....Scottish! 😂 It still has that 'new' smell & feeling to it & the seats are incredibly comfortable. Watched a movie there just last week & look forward to my next visit. 🤩🥳

Decided to tackle a Munro today, so decided on Buachaille Etive Mor. It was dry but freezing 🥶 (my favourite hiking conditions 😃) Some fresh snow on the top & I had the whole mountain to myself. No one else was mad enough apparently 😬 (I did see one chap follow me up but I think he turned back at the first gully 🫣 I admit it was a tad challenging in today’s conditions!) Decided to take in a couple of other peaks while I was there (as you do) 8 hours well spent and a great sunset to finish 🤩👍🏻
