Took a few hours out of my day yesterday to row with my mates in Corrag, our local skiff. I have no idea what we were all looking at with such fascination 🤣😂🤣👌🏼😎 It was so good to be back on the Loch.

Bagged another 2 Munros yesterday 😊 Creise & Meall a’ Bhuiridh. The route was challenging terrain, bog or loose rock, 9 hours of trudge…..Loved every minute 🤣😂🤣 The biggest surprise was all the frogs. Literally dozens of them all colours & sizes, I’ve never seen so many frogs! Persuaded one of them to pose for me 😎👌🏼

Had a brilliant day volunteering for Glencoe National Trust for Scotland on Saturday. Alongside 4 other volunteers & 2 staff members we spent the day removing 54 bin bags full of rubbish from the roadside between Glencoe Visitors Centre & the turn off to the Clachaig Inn. The weather was typically Scottish (great Billy Connolly quote featured on one of the wall posters in the Visitors Centre Cafe) 4 seasons in one day 😎 The cafe staff took great care of us with breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack 🙏 Worth doing again just for the food I’d say!! 😂🤣😂 Thanks also to BEAR who saved us from being road kill 😳🫣 As Scott, our intrepid team leader said in respect of his risk assessment, it’s always good not to kill the volunteers 😆

Lost Valley never gets old. It’s my favourite short hike & it’s only 5 minutes up the road! 🤩🎬

My security system alerted me to activity at the rear of the cottage a few days ago…….Not what I was expecting but it certainly explains the decimation of my vegetable patch earlier in the year 😳🤨😎

What to do on a dreich day in the Highlands?? Take a refreshing walk in the woods & then climb up the tallest indoor ice wall in the World 😳🥶😜👍🏻 Can’t get enough of this place @ice_factor

Wow, look at what I’ve just spotted from the bathroom window at the cottage tonight!! 🥳🤩 The sound you can hear is the stream to the right of frame which runs just 2.5 metres from the cottage heading for Loch Leven 😃 I've spotted deer in the area every time I've been here, but never a whole herd since hiking Lost Valley several years ago. Wish I’d had a proper zoom lens camera with me 🎥😳 Note to self, pack it next week.
