The bedroom has a 5’ Kingsize bed, top quality Egyptian cotton bedding, dressing table with mirror and hairdryer, artwork, fitted wardrobe and chair. There is ample off-road parking directly alongside the Barn. A private 1-acre field, enjoying mountain views across farmland and located immediately alongside the Barn is reserved for the exclusive use of guests and has garden furniture. Little Ballakewin Barn offers a superb rural, but well connected, base for exploring the beauty, landscape, history and activities of the Island. Just a 20 minute drive from Douglas harbour, and less than 3 miles from Ronaldsway airport, the location is ideal. There are many nearby attractions including the historic town of Castletown, Rushen Abbey and Cregneash traditional Manx village. Within a short drive are several excellent pubs serving food and real ales as well as what is arguably the Island’s finest restaurant, located just over a mile away. There are many delightful walks and footpaths nearby, including the long-distance Millennium Way, which runs within 200 yards of the Barn. There are also dramatic mountain bike trails in woodland within 3 miles.
