New venue! New menu!
Ahead of our reopening at Ballater’s Old Royal Station on Friday 21 May, our award-winning kitchen team has been busy curating a new Spring menu full of creative dishes made from the finest local produce for our guests to enjoy.
Among the dishes set to feature on the new menu, which can be viewed in full on our website, is Wark Farm lamb with aubergine caviar, lamb ‘ragù, heritage carrot, potato and jus.
Executive chef Ross Cochrane said: “The Rothesay Rooms team can’t wait to welcome back guests later this month.
“During the closure, we have been busy creating new menus which encapsulate our ethos of showcasing the finest local ingredients while embracing the field to fork cooking philosophy.”
Throughout May and June, the Rothesay Rooms will be open for lunch service on Fridays (12pm - 2pm), Saturdays (12pm - 2pm) and Sundays (12pm - 3pm), and for dinner service (6-9pm) on Fridays and Saturdays.
