Westertonhill Lodge 8 is a newbuild, spacious holiday home which can sleep a maximum of 8 guests with its 3 double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and double sofa bed in the living room. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. There is a separate family bathroom at the end of the hall which has a shower over the bath. The spacious living area has a large corner sofa to match the sofa bed and a Smart TV to relax in front of. The modern well-equipped kitchen/diner has a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing, machine, tumble dryer, electric oven, ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and oak breakfast table. From the kitchen double doors open into the sunroom with its large dining table which comfortably seats eight. From there French doors open out to the enclosed private patio area, which is completely fenced in, where your dog can join you while you enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, which has its own gazebo shelter, cook a meal on the brick-built coal BBQ or simply take time out at the seating area within another gazebo. Westertonhill Lodge 7 is a spacious 3-bedroom property which can sleep a maximum of 8 guests. With 2 double bedrooms, one en-suite and 1 twin room, a separate bathroom with walk in shower and a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a flat screen TV, corner sofa and separate sofa bed. This is the ideal place to spend time with family and friends where you can prepare a delicious meal in the modern well-equipped kitchen area. Here you will find a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, electric oven, ceramic hob, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and an oak breakfast table. Double doors leading from the living space open into the dining area in the sunroom where you can enjoy a home-cooked meal with friends and family. From here open the French doors to go into your own enclosed private patio area where you can relax in the hot tub within its gazebo shelter, cook a meal on the brick-built coal BBQ and enjoy your food at the picnic table or simply take time out in the covered seating area. With its beautiful countryside views and only a 5 minute drive from Balloch, Westertonhill Holiday Lodges is as great place to come to relax and explore the peaceful countryside surroundings and is ideally based for visiting the nearby picturesque villages of Drymen and Balmaha on the East side of Loch Lomond and Luss on the west bank of the loch. Balloch, which is on the south-west shores of the loch, has a train station, bus stance, shops including a supermarket and a selection of places to eat and drink. Close to the shops is Balloch Castle Country Park, Loch Lomond's only country park with impressive views of the loch and its surroundings where you can walk with your dog, follow the marked nature trails or enjoy a picnic at the loch side. Across the loch from the country park is Cameron House, the 5 star golf and spa resort where you can treat yourself to a day spa package, enjoy fine dining or book a more energetic activity such as mountain biking or a golf package. The John Muir Way from the shores of Loch Lomond at Balloch to the popular Victorian holiday resort of Helensburgh is popular with walkers and cyclists as is the National Number 7 Cycle Route from Balloch to Drymen which passes by the road to our holiday lodges. If you want to 'bag' a Munro the main path up Ben Lomond, the most southerly Munro in Scotland, can be found at Rowardennan on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond where you can enjoy fabulous views of the Loch from its summit. If your preference is shopping then a short walk or drive from Balloch village will take you to Loch Lomond Shores. This 5 star visitor attraction is surrounded by scenic views, where you can purchase high street brands as well as designer boutique goods then enjoy a snack at one of the cafes there. On Saturdays and Sundays you can enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond with Sweeney Cruises (https://sweeneyscruiseco.com/cruises/) from Loch Lomond shores or if you head back into Balloch there are a choice of daily cruises from there. Loch Lomond Shores also has a Sunday market twice a month but check before you go as it is weather dependent. There are special events on there as well (https://lochlomondshores.com/whats-on/) . For the Coronation they have special events on the 6th, 7th and 8th of May. Then on Saturday the 20th of May and again on Saturday 14th of October they have their popular 'Top Dogs Event' featuring competitions, exhibitions and all things doggy-related. Westertonhill Lodge 3 is a 3-bedroom single storey property which has a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room/WC, a twin bedroom and a king-sized bedroom. At the end of the hall there is a family bathroom. The spacious living/dining area has a 2-seater sofa bed which caters for a further two guests. The dining area has a large oak dining table which seats eight comfortably for a homecooked meal with friends and family. Afterwards you can sit and relax on the comfortable sofas to watch the large Smart TV. The dining area has French doors which lead out to your own private patio area where you can relax in the 6-seater hot rub (additional charge) within its own bespoke gazebo or sit and enjoy your surroundings in the seating area provided in the second gazebo. There is also a brick-built coal BBQ for you to use, a picnic table and a breakfast bar. If you prefer to cook indoors the well-equipped kitchen has a ceramic hob and electric oven, as well as a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

At the other end of the hallway you will find the open-plan kitchen/living area which leads through to the bright dining area with its large oak dining table which comfortably seats eight. Back in the living area you can relax in front of the Smart TV after a hard day exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. As well as the large corner sofa in the living space there is a double sofa bed to accommodate a further 2 guests. The modern well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to feed family and friends or you can make use of the brick-built coal barbeque outside in your own private patio area and enjoy your meal at a choice of seating areas. A further set of French doors round from the sunroom gives access from the patio to the modern, fully equipped kitchen/diner with its electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Westertonhill Holiday Lodges is a newbuild, steading style, self-catering holiday lodge development of 3 and 4 bedroom properties located in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The single storey 3 bedroom properties can sleep a maximum of 8 guests while the storey and a half 4 bedroom houses can accommodate up to10 guests.
