Welcome to 8 Bells Cottage 🔔 a cottage respectfully furnished to honour the its history and future as an idyllic holiday home with views of Bamburgh Castle. The cottage dates back to 1753, with part of the cottage once a kitchen and servants quarters to Wynding House, next door, where local he**in Grace Darling’s family lived. 🌊

A feast for the eyes! One of the biggest second-hand book stalls in the UK can be found a short drive from Eight Bells. This is the magnificent of Alnwick ~ a true feast for the eyes. There is magic everywhere, from above the tall book shelves where a steam train chugs around its steady track, to within the pages of the wonderful array of books here.
