Today is a momentous occasion for us! We have welcomed our 100th set of guests 🤩 this is something we’re incredibly proud of considering we’ve only been running since March 2023.
Some numbers for you:
🍰👩🏼‍🍳 100 cakes made (maybe 102, a couple weren’t up to scratch so got palmed off to family)
💐 900 flower arrangements
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 nearly 1000 guests through our doors
🐶 many pooches welcomed
⭐️ 5 star rating

We look forward to our next 100 sets of guests!

We won the diversification class at the Banbury Agricultural Association awards on Monday. As many of you know we are based on a working farm & we are very proud to be British farmers 🇬🇧

It’s been a while since we last posted - life has been busy this month!
Our spook-tacular Halloween decorations were put up at the beginning of the week ready for our guests 🎃🕸️
We’re not sure how many trick or treaters you’ll get down here though being off the beaten track…what do you all think? 🍬🍭🍡

The nights are drawing in now which can only mean one thing - cosy nights by the wood burner! 🔥🪵

We’ve had a weekend in November (23rd/24th) come available for anyone wishing to stay with us - it is the only weekend available for the rest of the year! Come spend the weekend with family and friends, cosy up by the fire & play some board games or explore the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.
You can also go see the amazing Christmas Lights at Blenheim Palace which we highly recommend going to 🎄

As you can see we’re based on a working farm so guests have the added bonus of either seeing the combine in action, groundwork being done or ewes & lambs running around the fields dependant on the time of year! 🚜🌾🐑

For all those nature lovers out there - we have a set of binoculars & a British bird book to help identify any birds which you happen to spot whilst staying with us📚
Kingfishers are a favourite, they often come early in the morning to the mill pool 🌅
We’ve even known birds use the door on to the patio as a mirror to admire themselves so you don’t even have to leave the comfort of the sofa 😉

Please note that as of this Monday (8th July), the road from Barford St Michael over the bridge will be closed for 8 weeks due to bridge repairs so the only access to us will be from Bloxham 🚧🚗
