While the Pine Cone offers access to the garden and woods with hammock,swings and heated tree house it is only 80 paces from miles of forest and river walks. It is ideal for dog walking and dogs are very welcome at the Pine Cone. There is off road parking and safe drying areas for walking gear,fishing rods etc. While staying at the Pine Cone there is the opportunity to watch the local bird life,visit castles and gardens,restaurants and coffee shops. There are at least 4 very good golf courses within 20 miles and two championship courses only a 45 drive away. Ideal for cycling, fishing or just watching
salmon leap at the nearby Feugh bridge! Boat trips from Stonehaven or Aberdeen and walks around Old Aberdeen with its famous St Machar Cathedral and wonderful Kings College.
