Hi,
I'm Jim at the Bear Garden Maintenance and Tree Services and I have been running my own business for the last 10years. I take on contracts as well as carrying out one-off clearance or tree jobs. Currently, I am a contractor for the National Trust and carry out a maintenance program of their holiday cottage gardens, as well as having private customers. I have built up a reputation of achieving

great results in a short period of time bringing overgrown gardens back to something workable again, or even back to a blank canvas. Several of my customers have been so pleased with the results after the clearance work that they have gone on to set up maintenance contracts, although others are happy to have something they can manage themselves. From many years of servicing my own equipment as well as carrying out courses such as chainsaw maintenance in CS30,CS31,CS38,CS39,CS40 I have become very adept at servicing all types of garden machinery and so now also offer this as another aspect of my business. Working in Torrington today on a woodland management job for my friend Jules Moberly. It's been an incredibly tough day as I've had a DandV bug for a few days and felt slightly better today but hanging out. Self employed don't work don't earn. There was nobody around to pass the bug onto which is why I moved another customer today and did this job. So pleased with the fell and was text book. Big dying Ash about 80ft with King Alfred cakes all over it. Cut up to end and stacked for logs and there are 4 main sections including the trunk for planking in the future. Amazing weather and going home to rest!! And rescued my friends bell tent and accessories and am going to power wash and clean it for him on Saturday.

Working with Kate at ours today. Took out the old hedge before nesting season to let more light into my yard and Kate's garden. Removed old fruit cage and starting to clear and get ready for the growing season. Times have changed and were going to start to grow alot of our own produce for us and the kids. Wet day but we motored on and nice to have some much needed time together. Great day. Back to work tomorrow with Sam on some woodland management work in Torrington taking out a large mature Ash.

40 minute vinyasa yoga flow with Kate this morning. Then took kids for a walk on Saunton beach. Then home for a 4mile treadmill run and 45kg weighted squats. Feel blessed to be so fit. Coffee by the fire now. Happy days.

Nice to have a day off with the family. Cuppa by the 🔥 this morning and gardening at our place with Kate TregellassTregellas getting ready for the growing season this year. Then a 4 mile treadmill run, 45kg weighted squats and sit ups. Nice time off. Good to rest my hand as managed to get through the big Conifer climbing and dismantling job with a broken finger.
