About us.
Paws under the Stars was a dream I have had for many years. A place where dogs can come on holiday with plenty of room to run free. We had to relocate to find such a place and our dreams have finally come true and we would like to share it with you!
We are lucky to live at the end of a single track road on the edge of the lovely Galloway Forest. Our house leads directly onto the Barr trails, with over 20 miles of stunning forest walks.
The double yurt is situated within our three acre grounds in a private tranquil setting. A burn runs around the perimeter for those doggies who like to paddle or swim. The grounds are dog friendly but not completely dog proof. If your pooch is a Houdini, then they may find a way out.
The yurts have their own shower, compost toilet and washing up area all on decking. We promote eco-friendly products and provide these for your use while you stay with us. The yurts sleep four people very comfortably; accommodation is a double bed and a large sofa bed. There can also be extra guests catered for with single pull out beds on request at a small charge.
