A brilliant, fully booked workshop this weekend at The Waters' Edge in Barton. Well done Hilary, Julie, Lorraine, Annette, Tracey, Ray, Ann, Marion, Tom, Katie, Angie and Nicky! With 4 beginners amongst us, what brilliant results!
I am doing two new classes this summer at Dizzybirds in Hornsea. Saturday 17th August is watercolour peacock and Sunday 18th August is watercolour sea turtle, both classes will involve the experimental use of salt and all are taught step by step. Summer Art watercolour adult workshops are running at The Waters’ Edge in Barton. I have been running these for two years now and what a fabulous time I have had! All workshops are suitable for absolute beginners and more experienced painters. All stages are step by step, you will be guided through the process with plenty of demonstrations and one to one help. What a busy and lovely weekend I have had. A highland cow watercolour at 20-21 in Scunthorpe on Saturday and a wildflower meadow watercolour workshop at The Waters’ Edge in Barton Upon Humber. I am running classes through the summer at The Waters’ Edge. There are still places left on the peacock workshop there on Sunday 16th June (it would make a fab Father’s day present) and on some of the other classes in August and July too. 10am to 3.15 pm, £36 all materials provided and all step-by-step with demonstrations at every stage. Well done to the gang at The Trinity Methodist Church today, you were amazing. The paintings are fantastic and we had a few absolute beginners again today! Looking forward to 'silver birches' next week and the puffin too. Classes are fully booked but there are spaces still left at the Waters' Edge watercolour workshops in Barton. A fab class today at The Waters' Edge, everyone did so well and we got so involved that I forgot to take photos of the watercolour drip cake finished paintings. If anyone was there and sees this please can you post or email a photo of your paintings. Quite a few beginners today and you all coped so well with the painting, I was blown away! Another ace class (watercolour wildflower meadow today) I can only show you 5 today though, half my class escaped without me taking photos of their work! I received an unexpected gift that has made my day. Thank you Karen Gunson for my chocolate cake, you are an absolute star.
Last night I received an email from Kay, she has finished her sea turtle and painted another one! The colours on this are fab and I love it when people have been inspired to work at home.

Today's watercolour sea turtle workshop at The Waters’ Edge was fantastic, there were 4 complete beginners and I’m betting you can’t spot them amongst these photos, you were all bloomin marvellous. Lovely to see some familiar faces too.

On Saturday 16th March I am teaching another watercolour pheasant workshop at The Waters’ Edge Visitor Centre in Barton Upon Humber. The last one sold out and there are only 3 places left on this now.

Today’s class at The Waters’ Edge in Barton. Well done everyone, once again some complete beginners todays mixed in with a few regular faces. Lovely to see you all and we produced some brilliant Puffin Watercolour paintings.
