Eagle eyed fans may have spotted some famous faces across the Vale in the past few weeks as boxing crime drama Salvable was being filmed in many locations across Barry, Llantwit Major and Penarth! 🎬

We were delighted to work with the production team on this as many of our streets, parks and buildings, including Penarth Pier were a backdrop to filming, which has now wrapped.

Big shout out to many local businesses that supported the filming too! 👍

We hope Shia LeBeouf, Toby Kebbell, James Cosmo, Michael Socha and the whole cast and crew enjoyed their time with us!

Can’t wait to see the film when it’s released!🍿🎥

Embrace your inner pirate on Barry Island! 🏴‍☠️

Did you know that Barry Island, once a true island, has a spooky past?

Long ago, a smuggler named Thomas Knight ruled the island, bringing in goods like spirits and to***co illegally. He even had a small army to defend his operation! ⚔️

Another smuggler named William Arthur took over, making it hard for the authorities to stop him too…

Luckily the only Pirates you will find today are on the golf course at Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf! ⛳️🏴‍☠️
