Calm after the storms… Even in winter the views from Rowley Cottage’s garden are lovely, surrounded by birdsong. If you’re really lucky you will catch a glimpse of one of our 3 resident kingfishers.

Dine at nearby just 5 minutes drive away from the cottage. With fun interiors, a beautiful setting and fantastic food you cannot go wrong. Their dining domes and outdoor BBQ terrace are wonderful in summer, and their indoor bar and restaurant perfect for the winter months. Did I mention they also have a spa?!?

ADVENT NEWSLETTER out now - click on link in bio. Autumn seems to have been fleeting this year as the summer stretched on and now we are hit suddenly by this Arctic weather.

However, it all makes for beautiful views in the valley as the winter berries lend their colours to the last of the autumnal hues.

Personally, I cannot wait for our wreath workshops coming up and this weekend we will be shopping for a Christmas Tree for the Manor. Do you get yours early, or wait until nearer the big day?
