1. NURSERY APPRENTICE – Bath – Salary meets national living wage!

Nursery Apprentice – Who we are looking for?
Someone who …
• has GCSE Maths and English grade C or above
• holds a passion for education and educating our children
• believes in shaping a future for not only the children but themselves
• is articulate & friendly
• is able to commit to the full apprenticeship programme
• holds a passion for learning about Childcare and reliable
Nursery Apprentice – What will you be doing?
·To undertake a developmental programme leading to an Early Years Qualification as part of an apprenticeship which is achieved within the given timescale
·To actively participate in your own development plan working through the qualification with the qualification provider and with the nursery setting too.
·To undertake induction training in the nursery with a named mentor
·To keep your mentor informed of your progress and to raise any concerns or issues with them
·To support the nursery staff to observe, plan and maintain accurate children’s records.
·To develop a sound understanding of Safeguarding Policies
·Undertake a shared responsibility for the care of children, health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery

2. **Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner needed**
Level 2 or 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner start date September 2024.
We are passionate about early years education, are you fun, enthusiastic, reliable, caring and nurturing?
This will be a TERM TIME ONLY position working 20-40 hours per week and we are offering a salary ranging from £9,000- £17,000. Salary meets the national living wage.
The Role will include
• Supporting your Room Manager in providing an excellent learning and play environment.
• Meeting the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Prepare and supervise activities and support children at all times.
You will need a level 2/3 or above in childcare as well as experience with children aged 3 months - 5 years ideally within an Early years setting. Other things that will help you in this role are:
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
• Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
• Someone who is highly organised, reliable and a driven team-player
• Be able to build strong relationships with both parents and children
• The ability to adapt quickly to changes and use initiative

3. Special Educational Needs (SEND) 1:1
We are passionate about early years education, are you fun, enthusiastic, reliable, caring and nurturing?
The candidate would be working with two children who have an EHCP and a diagnosis of ASD.
Hours 9-1 Monday to Friday – term time only (more hours may be available if wanted)
Salary - will meet the national living wage, it will be based on the candidates experience and qualifications.
Start date – As soon as possible
Skills
Experience of working with children with SEN needs, preferably some experience of working with children with ASD.
Level 2 or 3 qualification in early years
You will work with child’s parents, SENCO and other professionals about targeted outcome plans for the child, contributing to the planning and delivery as appropriate.
