I think the most common phrase said in the studio must be “I cannot believe it is me” and there is a reason for that. So often we build up a version of ourselves that is made up of only our “flaws” and we forget that it is not how the world sees us, or what we actually look like!
Last week I designed a wall art for a woman, and she was so blown away to be choosing a photo that proudly displayed her rolls, because, for the first time, she could see that her rolls were perfect! They were not something to be hidden or “flattered”. Afterall, not only are they part of who they are but part of what makes her gorgeous!
Our goal is never to change how you look, it is for you to see yourself without zoning into what you have previously called “imperfections” and to see that you are enough exactly as you are.
Our bodies change all the time. Our confidence cannot hinge on us being a certain size or looking a certain way, it has to come from within – and that way, we lay a foundation of self-love for the future.
