🤿Allie doing a controlled free immersion dive down to the cockpit of the plane. ✈️
❤Look how great her body position is and how relaxed she is.
Allie was struggling with her equalisation, but by keeping her chin tucked in, staying relaxed, and pre-empting every equalisation, she made it easily to ten metres.

⛵️Terri doing free immersion all the way down to the small boat! 🤿
If people struggle with equalisation then this is a fantastic spot to dive at Vobster as there are things to see and explore at shallower depths

Charlie and Alastair diving down and along the platforms, with Charlie filming. The visibility is fantastic at Vobster and this course we had over thirteen metres vis so could see the plane from the surface

John doing a very fine job of driving a sunken boat 😳😂

Alastair’s first attempt at a rescue from black out at 10m.
The most important thing to do is get the diver to the surface with their airways intact, which he did brilliantly, however at Go Freediving, we want our students to learn perfect safety skills so they become automatic.
On the surface, there is the ‘serious’ hand, which keeps the airways open with a pistol grip on the chin and doesn’t move, then the ‘fun’ hand which takes the mask off and taps.
Alastair did the classic (and most-common) mistake of using the serious hand to tap. Particularly in rough conditions, we need the hand on the chin not to move and make sure the airways are open and clear of the water. If you move it to tap then you disturb the integrity of that.
