PQA is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in comedy & drama, musical theatre and film & television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers. By working with people we believe are outstanding in their field, we ai

m to provide our students with a constantly evolving experience – something that is fresh, exciting and bang up-to-date. We want to instil the benefits of the performing arts into a new generation of young people, helping them to realise their potential, grow as individuals and become the people they want to be as they learn skills valuable for everyday life, not just the performing arts. And if our students have the ambition, we want to teach them the skills and give them the support to make it happen. Above all, we encourage our students to be amazing, just by being themselves. OMG wow wow wow. I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you for your incredible performance of Les Miserables. This show is known for its complexity and depth, making it a challenging endeavor for even the adults, let alone young talents like yourselves. Your brilliance shone through, and I was truly amazed by your dedication and hard work.

I am immensely proud of all of you, and you should take great pride in your achievements as well. This performance was not just a testament to your abilities, but also a reflection of your teamwork and passion for the arts.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the parents, family members, staff, and volunteers who played a crucial role in making this show a success. Your support and commitment were invaluable, and without you, this remarkable production would not have been possible.

As we approach the half-term break, I hope you take this time to rest and recharge. We look forward to seeing you back at PQA on the 8th of March, ready to continue our creative journey together.

We have a very special message from our friend _laurendrew1.

Lauren wanted to wish all of our wonderfully talented students good luck in their production of Les Miserables Schools edition, which they are performing at The Dragonfly Theatre this Sunday.

Lauren, who has previously played Fantine in Les Mis, is currently performing as celinedion in the brilliantly entertaining West End musical titaniquemusical.

We have loved working with Lauren in the past and really appreciate Lauren taking the time out of her busy schedule to wish everyone at PQA Bath luck. Thank you Lauren.

I just wanted to take a moment to express how incredibly proud I am of everyone for yesterday’s rehearsals! It was our first run with costumes, and I know it wasn’t easy. But each and every one of you remained focused and gave it your all! 💪✨
