Good morning all 👋
We are going to open up our booking system later on today for June. We will hopefully be able to open sooner than that but we never know how kind the weather is going to be for us and we have very wet ground here, so it really needs to dry out alot.
What we have on offer this year ⤵️

🦙 Alpaca trekking-
Come and take a beautiful leisurely walk around the farm with a wooley, fluffy companion the alpaca. Either Magic, Lawrence, Jackson or Delta. If that's not enough kick back and relax after your walk with some tasty refreshments to reflect on the fun, quirky experience you have just had.

Alpaca Meet and greet-
This is a great experience for all the family and perfect for large or small groups. Come and meet the alpacas and learn all about them and there history. Enjoy some alpaca handling and walk a alpaca around a small arena. Then time to relax in a peaceful picnic area and enjoy some tasty treats while you watch the alpacas do there thing.

Alpaca Meet and Greet family/group sessions
Exactly the same as above but with a little extra for children of any age, with some great craft activities to get stuck into, also comes with refreshments.

Due to a flurry of sales on alpaca socks, we are now lacking in some sizes and sock types. If you were thinking of buying some alpaca socks please pop me a message with what you need so I can check we have them in stock and we can put them back for you.

Well it's been a very busy few days getting everything ready for the show this Saturday, we ve been making many, many scones to sell at the show to help raise money for the RABI. The show is completely free with so much to see, fun for all the family. Hope to see you all there ❤️

We can't wait for next Saturday (21st September) and our Family Fun Day with Gooseford Dairy

Our day kicks off at 10.30am with the Stags Agriculture machinery sale and the starting of the Open Day!

With a hog roast, amusements and activities for the kids, quad bike demos, the Sam's Cider Bar for the bigger kids, live shearing demos throughout the day and a chance to see the milking at 2.30pm we have a packed day!

Come and see what stalls we have including - Merlo UK , Kioti UK , , Southwest Fixings , Dartmoor National Park, Beamsworthy Alpacas, Crediton Milling Company, AB Accountancy and many more (sorry if we have missed you!)

Our family fun day is completely free and is in partnership with the farmers charity

We will be appearing at Southwest handling and Gooseford Dairy family fun day next weekend on Saturday the 21st of September.
We will have our little pop up shop selling our warm cosy socks and other merchandise but we will also have a marquee selling cream teas to help raise money for a very worthy cause RABI-
(Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution) –
The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution is a welfare charity which changes lives for the better.

They offer financial support to farming people of all ages who are in hardship. They treat every application for support on its own merits, working with compassion and discretion.

To qualify for long-term financial support, applicants must normally be 65 or over and have worked in farming for at least 10 years. Dependants can also qualify for assistance. The trustees retain the discretion to help people at all times.

People with limited savings, who are on a low income, usually qualify for help, but even if you do not qualify for a grant, they may be able to assist you in other ways. For example, with food vouchers or advice about claiming state benefits.

R.A.B.I. operates in England and Wales – a sister charity, RSABI www.rsabi.org.uk operates in Scotland.
