From glamping in a safari-style tent, to a quiet break in one of our enchanting shepherd huts, to the indulgence of a comfortable eco-friendly cottage … your stay with us will be an experience to remember. All accommodation includes bed linen and towels, kitchen equipment, private barbecue, and en-suite facilities. We hope that you’ll fall in love with Suffolk, just like we did when we moved our f

amily here in 1991. We’re situated in the village of Barsham in the Waveney Valley, not far from the bustling market town of Beccles and the beautiful coastal town of Southwold. There are lots of opportunities to explore the Broads by hired boat or canoe. Our glamping site is set in its own field on our small working farm, with chickens, sheep, cows, and pigs. The two safari tents and three shepherd huts are all well-spaced and come with their own barbecue. Each self-contained unit is beautifully furnished with a private bathroom and kitchen – ideal for couples, families, or a large group of friends (if you’d like to book the whole site). The South Down shepherd hut and both safari tents are dog friendly, and we also have a selection of outdoor children’s toys.

Our Story

Welcome to the tranquillity of Barsham and the big skies of Suffolk. A small working farm, with laying chickens, sheep and cows.

We have 2 luxury tented lodges that can sleep a family of 6 – 8 in style with hot running water, electric sockets and wood burning cooker complimented with an electric stove, private toilet and shower.

Or you could hire one of three shepherds huts for that romantic retreat, a family get away or somewhere to put your head down, after cycling or walking all day. They are fully insulated and heated so what ever the weather they are warm and cosy. They all have there own showers and toilet, so no running across a field at night.

New for 2019 we have 2 luxury holiday cottages, Bluebell and Lavender. each can sleep 6 and 8 accordingly, with en-suite bathrooms or you can hire the 2 together with a interconnecting door. Each cottage has its own private garden and BBQ.
