.... arrrghh the stress!
We're currently on holiday which obviously means we want to book the next one.

I spent ages finding the perfect place yesterday and today tried to book it 😡

It was a right ffaff and eventually the place I wanted disappeared and I got frustrated. I didn't want to lose the place I found as it was perfect..Our kids are still rubbish at going to sleep so we need a particular set up.

Anyway long story short I contacted Tracey, my Travel Counsellors team member, and asked her for help.

She called the resort and booked my "unavailable" holiday within 20 minutes.
👉20 MINUTES! I'd had SO many error messages before that.

💃 She also got it cheaper than I'd found online.

Tracey then told me off, rightly so, for not coming to her in the first place! Not a mistake I'll make again!!

♥️ Tracey is a complete holiday booking ninja. She's fast and knows how to pull wonderful adventures together, even when the computer says "no". ✨️

It's my husbands 40th Birthday Party today - I've gone all out and planned a fabulous party for him which I'm properly excited about!

In fact, I absolutely LOVE ❤️ special occasions and marking important moments with celebration and memory making experiences.

My in-laws will turn 70 next year and they want us to take a family get-away together, and in fact here at Travel With Enfys - Travel Counsellors we plan a number of Special Trips for people each year.

We planned the "best hotel I've ever been to" in Santorini for a couple celebrating their 10 year anniversary this summer. We also arranged a deluxe cruise to mark a 70th (omg you should have seen the 3 suites I booked them).

I also planned a divine honeymoon combining a showstopping safari with ultimate relaxation in Mauritius for a pair of newlyweds...

In fact, now I think about it a vast number of the incredible holidays and adventures I've been asked for are to mark significant moments in people life.

Holidays are important! They bring couples, families and friends together. New and old. It gives you time away to discover the delights the world has to offer and gives you experiences you'll remember for a lifetime.

We're still here!
I've become shockingly bad at updating this Travel With Enfys - Travel Counsellors page but my team are still busy in the background here designing and booking beautiful holidays.

Just wow!

This family are friends of mine and I recently had the pleasure of helping Rachel plan their 5*, four week adventure to Thailand.

Yesterday she sent me these pics to share and wowee, doesn't this look amazing?

They have four different deluxe stays in four incredible destinations arranged. The day trips and experiences they're having will create life long memories for the whole family and their son even learned to swim in the beautiful Thai Island waters. 🏝 ❤️

I absolutely love travelling in Asia and have spent so much time out there exploring Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Burma, China, Bali, Malaysia and Japan... wow, that list is longer than I expected!

Here at Travel With Enfys - Travel Counsellors we cover worldwide travel and between us have experience of most destinations. For any new destinations we learn and love a challenge if you're really getting off the beaten track!

🌸 🌸 We've had several Japan enquiries this week which I just love. Is Japan on your list?

It's up there as one of my favourite destinations as I spent years working for a Japan specialist travel company. I was fortunate enough to see and experience incredible Ryokans and the best Japan has to offer as we zoomed about the country by bullet train.

I ❤️ Honeymoons!

After a postponing their wedding Steph and Chris finally got to go on their incredible Safari & Mauritius honeymoon this month - and blimey was it a showstopper.

They got upgraded to First Class on their flight out and then went into the wild to see the best of South Africa. They had beautiful stays, incredible experiences and deluxe relaxation throughout.

It's our final Disney Day today. It's been epic 😎

Here is the wrap up of our Disneyland mini break;

🔹 It's been amazing, we've all loved it.

️🔹️The illuminations were PACKED but it was still worth it.

🔹️ We had 4 nights and 3 Park days which was perfect. No pressure to 'do everything' and stay longer than we wanted which suited the kids.

🔹We had the car which has been incredibly useful.

️🔹️We popped to the supermarket and took tons of snacks and fruit everyday. Food here is costly, you have to queue forever and its quite "chips based" unless you're in one of the experience restaurants.

🔹️ The Lion King and Mickey Magic show were incredible. Well worth booking the premiere tickets.

🔹️ Even though our kids are 4&6 having the trailer pram was a godsend.

🔹️We walked 20,000 steps yesterday- no way we'd have enjoyed it without them having a cosy place to relax in.

🔹️Our hotel was incredible and perfect for families. We had two bedrooms and it's been just fab.

All in all, we've all loved it. We've not been abroad in forever and I'm now thinking where we can go next.

I'm so pleased travel is now back on the agenda and that our girls are also keen to explore with us!

Disneyland Day Two.
I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much! Seeing the kids so happy is just fabulous and the atmosphere here is awesome!

We've come back to our hotel now for a quick "rest". Not much time though as we need to go swimming before going back to the park to see the illuminations tonight.

What's your best travel memory?

🔹It feels like forever since we went abroad. Since having our second and what with Covid grounding all the flights there hasn't been much opportunity to venture beyond the UK recently. I hope that changes next year though! I really want our kids and family to experience the world and enjoy the incredible sights the world has to offer.

🔹Have you travelled much with your kids? Or would you like to?

This photo was taken in Hoi An, Vietnam a few years ago. Our daughter was just a squidge then. She loved the swimming pools, colours, flinging noodles about and interacting with the locals.

She was no trouble at all either. I'd arranged for a guide and driver to take us from place to place (with a car seat), so everything was comfortable, safe, easy and arranged.

😅I think that as parents there is this hope that holidays are 'relaxing'!
🔹But they're not always are they? Not with young kids. But travelling (rather than holidaying) with children can be just wonderful. The sounds and sights and experiences keep the family busy. Immersive holidays away from just the usual fly and flop make such incredible experiences. When we took them to Lanzarote it was far harder work than when we went to Vietnam I must say!

So…. I'm Enfys (pronounced En-vis) and I run my Travel Counsellor business here in Bedford, though my clients are scattered nationwide.

I've worked arranging bespoke travel arrangements for about 11 years and in 2018 set up my own business with Travel Counsellors which was going unbelievably well pre-pandemic. I can arrange anything travel related; from complicated flights, to family holidays & adventures, to bespoke honeymoons, to group tours, tailor made arrangements, cruises, safaris, villas, luxury all-inclusive beach stays, UK cottages and city breaks, train travel and pretty much anything else you can think of.

There are no 'fees' for using my services, similar to a high-street agent the prices I have are all inclusive and it's rare to have any separate booking fees. I offer much more than a traditional agent, however, which keeps my customers coming back again and again. It's been a while but finally my wonderful clients have started travelling again. Last week Maria took her family to Greece and had the most phenomenal time. Yes, it was more complicated than usual getting their paperwork in order, but it was doable. That's what I'm here for - to help navigate the current travel logistics!

On return, the first thing they've asked for is to go again (next month), so the extra paperwork was clearly not too off putting!

I'm just thrilled that this family got to travel. After the year we've had there is nothing more important than holidays; connecting with family, having fun, relaxing and experiencing something new.

I'm not working a huge amount over August but between me and my TC partners we are here to help.

This is the A470 from Bala to Trawsfynydd in North Wales as we're making our way from Yorkshire to Porthmadog. We keep having to stop to prod awake the toddler as she'll never sleep tonight in our lovely holiday cottage if she naps in the car. To keep the kids entertained we've been singing, asking Google what sounds various animals and dinosaurs make, providing ice creams & treats. As a Travel Counsellor I book and manage holidays and travel experiences for my clients. Every enquiry is different and I work with my customers I find out what would be the perfect choice of holiday for them and create a seamless set of arrangements to suit.

There are no booking fees for using my service – like most travel agents - and any quote I provide is fully non-obligation so there is nothing to lose by enquiring with me!
