Our lakeside cottages are perfect for your guests before, during and after your wedding day!

With a large cottage that sleeps upto 12 guests, another that sleeps 6 both with their own hot tubs and then our gorgeous

A kingsize bed, lakeside garden and stunning views. 🥰 we’ve utilised local suppliers wherever possible - including for our most recent update & lampshade!

We do our best to support the planet with everything we do - all of our cottages are heating via renewable heat source boilers, solar panels provide electricity, we line dry our linen wherever possible and use refillable locally sourced cleaning products from too!

When you stay with us, you will be welcomed with a gorgeous homemade cake from The Coffee Cup - where you can have breakfast and lunch if you prefer not to cook! You’ll also have FREE golf to enjoy - if you have time anyway!

While you dont have to hire our cottages with our wedding venue, we do have packages that include them too! So you can either ask your guests to book their own or do it for them if required.

Digby’s Den, our ground floor lakeside studio has had a facelift.
New 1500 pocket sprung Kingsize bed, new curtains, chaise lounge, bedding, smart TV and lovely lampshade made by local supplier Engravedbyelle too 💕

Would you like to come and work with us?
We are looking for a Clubhouse assistant on the Weekends.
A six-hour shift but could be more for the right candidate, covering both morning and late morning starts including either the opening or closing of the clubhouse.
We would love a candidate who enjoys being in customer service, dealing with our member golfers as well as visitors, both golfers and general - coming to see us for our home-made cakes and freshly prepared breakfasts and lunches.

Welcome to Colmworth ! We are now proud to say that our holiday cottages are stocked with your refillable washing up liquid, hand soap and dishwasher powder and our linen is now cleaned with your detergent, conditioner and de-stain powder. This alongside line drying our linen wherever possible is another great step to reduce our carbon footprint.

are a small business located just down the road from us in Finedon, Northants. We’ve started with 20L drums but will be upping to their 200L drums - all of which will be returned and re-used once empty too!

We aim to become mini refill store for anyone who loves their products - if you’re local / visit us regularly let us know if you’re interested in refills below 👇🏻

We have some availability in our lakeside cottages coming up;
Ollie’s Lodge (sleeps 10) available 22nd July
Clive’s Cottage (sleeps 6) available 12th August

Both cottages have lakeside gardens with hot tubs, just a stones throw from our Coffee Cup Cafe - for homemade breakfasts, lunch & cakes! Lovely rural walks from the front door too.

Cottage guests enjoy FREE golf on our main 18 home course* in the afternoons and use of our pitch & putt/ FootGolf in the mornings during their stay.

The house martins are a hive of activity at the moment - so evenings can be spent watching them dive bomb the lake for water and bugs (it’s our favourite time of year to spend by the lakeside!)

We strongly recommend a trip to The Plough if you’re staying with us - it’s just down the road and you won’t be disappointed 😋

Our garden is looking it’s finest at the moment. On a nice day, its glorious to sit and relax with drinks & nibbles, do pop in if you are travelling by. We also offer our menus outside when weather permits. And we now have wifi covering the garden - Bolnhurst is finally online!! 🌳🌼🌸

Our lakeside lodges are perfect for for a bit of much needed downtime!

We have a large cottage that sleeps 10-12 guests, 2 studios with double beds and then this cottage - sleeping 6 in either doubles or singles.
All have gorgeous views over the lake and let’s not forget the hot tubs for some proper chillaxing times!
