I did an evening tour this evening with a lovely team from
They were going out for the evening but wanted to do something before going to eat and I was the lucky person who got to take them on tour.
Thank you to everyone from American Holidays.

My tours run on Saturday and Sunday at 10am and 1pm but if you want to say think you to your team for their years work I can do evening tours.
As long as there are 5 or more people and the earliest I can do a tour is 5pm.

A new piece of street art in Bank Square this weekend.
When I was walking past in the morning time I took the first photo.
Later that evening one of my guests was going to Kelly's Cellars and she sent me the second photo.

Vermont Maple Syrup, I have been told its the best Maple Syrup in the world.

Idea for Christmas night out.

My tours run on Saturday and Sunday but I had a special tour last night.

A couple from Canada took my tour in April 2021 and they are back in N Ireland with a group for a golf holiday.
Christopher wanted his group to experience my tour so I took them out last night at 6:30pm.
The place looks so different at night time.

This is something I can do from now to Christmas if anyone is interested in a private group tour before going for Christmas drinks.
The tour would have to be some time from 5pm onwards and with at least 8 guests.
There is no option to book this online so drop me a message if interested.

Cannon and Ball are back.
Their plaque at the end of Great Victoria Street was missing due to street works but I see it has now been replaced.

Looks like we going to lose this lovely bit of street art of the sleeping girl?
It’s on Queen Street.
The building behind it was originally a children’s hospital and during the troubles it was Queen Street police station.
It has recently been granted planning permission to become a boutique hotel.
It will make a lovely hotel but when construction starts the art will have to go.
You can see in the first photo that nature took over and started to grow trees on the building and the second photo I took last weekend where work has started to clean it up.

Another casualty of the Celebrity Tree Trail in Belfast.
A few weeks ago we lost Cliff Richard because of street works.
His plaque was outside Starbucks on Great Victoria Street and now we have lost Cannon and Ball who had theirs at the end of Great Victoria Street opposite Grand Opera house.
If we lose any more we will have to down grade the name of the street to Good Victoria Street.

I love witty ads and here is one I saw at in Belfast.

I got a great complement last weekend about the tour.
A lady was on the tour and she told me at the start that she has a bad leg.
She said I am telling you now so you won’t take it as an insult when I have to leave after about an hour. It won’t be any reflection on you or the tour; I just can’t walk for two hours.

She stayed to the very end.
She then told me that she was enjoying it so much that she just couldn’t leave.

That’s about as good a review as you could get.

In October 2022 Cathedral Building in Belfast was set on fire causing £3m of damage.
Almost two years later the two chimneys have been rebuilt and the roof is on ready for felt and slates.
It will be good to see it back to life again.

What about this for a bit of street art. This guy is from London and his first time in Belfast. There are nails all around the outside frame and he loops thread from one nail to the next to the next to the next and so on. Then changing colour and goes again and eventually an image of a skull starts to form. This is on Union Street outside the @sunflowerpub (Sunflower Bar) if you want to have a look at it.
