'Bedrooms and Bars' an exhibition of paintings by Ed Reynolds at Vault Artist Studios, 'The Shadow of the Butterfly Bush' photographs by Gareth McConnell at Belfast Exposed Photography Gallery, Flax artists at Pollen Studio Belfast, James Millar and Dermot Blackburn at The Engine Room Gallery plus various other artists also at the Engine room, 'Shedding Light' by Steph Harrison at University of Atypical for Arts and Disability.

The next walking tour will be on Thursday March 6th, when we'll visit several exhibitions, including, 'I see his blood upon the rose' at The Mac to see the decoupage art of Mary Delany (1700 - 1788), who at 72 years of age began producing a series of 985 extraordinarily detailed floral collages.
Mary Delany's stunning works are a remarkable combination of art and science. Often mistaken for watercolours, they are in fact carefully constructed paper collages, or 'mosaicks' as she called them.

Mary noticed the similarity between a geranium and a piece of red paper that was on her bedside table. The realisation prompted Delany to pick up a pair of scissors and imitate the petals in paper.

We visited amazing exhibition openings this evening during November's Late Night Art.
At The MAC 'I See His Blood Upon the Rose', a group show looking at the history of flowers in art, including works by Rachel Ruysch, Mary Delany, Tracey Emin and Robert Mapplethorpe.
CRAFT NI Gallery hosted their annual 'Big Bauble Showcase', plus ceramics, jewellery, glass, textiles, print, sculpture and turned wood.
'Safe Harbour' at The Engine Room Gallery with art by Marjorie Bloch, Cara Gordon, Fleur Jackson and Amanda Brady.
Pollen Studio Belfast hosted one of their wonderful Art Market/Parties with loads to buy, and lots of food and drink, also an exhibition of portraits by Emanuela Mae Agrini Art . Around the corner at Belfast Exposed Photography Gallery we viewed three exhibitions, 'A Woman's Place' by Jo Spence, 'Modern Muse' by Arpita Shah, and upstairs in the Studio gallery at the back, a show sponsored by Jollyes pet store called 'We Love Dogs!
Chew bones and doggy treats were available for any pooches in attendance.
Finally, at Vault Artist Studios we saw 'A Tale of Two Houses' by Marta Dyzkowska.
