Mini Explorers NI Mini Explorers has been created by two professionals that are also two local mums;
Laura Stitt: B.Ed.

ASD trained and with over 8 year's experience in education. Leanne Alawi BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies, with a background in Family Support. We both who have a passion for play and learning and we are enthusiastic in sharing our passion of play to parents aswell as working in nurseries and schools. Our main focus is early years and special needs however, we our activities do cater for older c

hildren. Our main aims are:
• promote development and achievement through play
• to get parents involved
• to promote positive mental well being in both parents / carers and
children. We offer:
Learning through Play workshops for nurseries and schools. Parent services
Professional Training and information sessions
Parent and child play workshops
Mindfulness workshops
Mindfulness Training

It is part of our inclusive Park Life programme.

Get ready to paint the town green💚 as St. Patrick’s Day Parades will be the centre of celebrations in Downpatrick & Newry on Sunday 17 March.☘️

From 12noon until 4pm, come along and enjoy the free activities including face painting, walkabout characters, arts and crafts, balloon modelling and live music performances. 🎨🎈🎸

⏰️ Newry Parade departs 1pm
⏰️ Downpatrick Parade departs 1:30pm

We have had the privilege of providing sensory services for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice this wee super Mia has attended lots of our sessions! I really hope they get what they need as deserve

Our Children’s Occupational Therapy Service is holding a further series of Sensory Regulation Workshop for parents and carers.

You’ll have an opportunity to speak to Occupational Therapists and ask any questions you might have.

Advice leaflets will be available for you to take home.

You do not need to pre-book or make a referral to Occupational Therapy to attend.

Come along to one of following sessions:

Thursday 25 January - 6.30pm, The Sandel Centre, 6 Knocklynn Road, Coleraine.

Wednesday 28 February - 10am, Magherafelt Women’s Group, 27-29 Moneymore Road, Magherafelt.

Thursday 21 March - 6.30pm, Farrenshane House, 1 Ballygore Road, Antrim.

Each workshop will last approximately two hours, with a short break in the middle.

Please note, your child should not attend and will not need to be seen by Occupational Therapy, unless a further request for support is indicated.
