Croagh Patrick, often referred to as “Ireland’s Holy Mountain,” is a 764-meter (2,507-foot) mountain located in County Mayo, Ireland. It is renowned for its religious significance, as it is said to be the site where Saint Patrick fasted for 40 days in 441 AD. Every year, particularly on Reek Sunday (the last Sunday in July), thousands of pilgrims climb the mountain, many doing so barefoot as an act of penance. The mountain offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and Clew Bay. Its challenging climb and historical importance make it a popular destination for both hikers and pilgrims.

Lough Erne Resort is a luxury hotel and golf resort located on the shores of Lough Erne in County Fermanagh
The Faldo Course bearing the name of its designer Sir Nick Faldo the six-time Major champion. The resort also includes the Castle Hume Course which provides a more relaxed golfing experience, suitable for all levels of golfers.
Here are some other notable courses designed by Sir Nick. The Faldo Course at Emirates Golf Club (Dubai, UAE). The Faldo Championship Course at Amendoeira Golf Resort (Algarve, Portugal) and the Faldo Course at Cornelia Golf Club (Belek, Turkey).
Sir Nick Faldo won six major championships—three Open Championships (1987, 1990, 1992) and three Masters Tournaments (1989, 1990, 1996). He also played in 11 Ryder Cups.

Narin & Portnoo Links is located in County Donegal, Ireland. The course features stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding countryside. Narin & Portnoo Links. In 2018 the renowned architect Gil Hanse was brought in to redesign the course. Hanse’s work included re-routing some holes and adding new ones, while maintaining the course’s traditional links character.
Gil Hanse is known for his expertise in designing and renovating golf courses worldwide. He has been involved in the design of Castle Stuart Golf Links, Inverness, Scotland and also Streamsong Black in Florida, USA. He has also been involved in renovations at classic American venues such as Winged Foot and Merion Golf Club.

Old Head Golf Links located on the Old Head of Kinsale, a promontory in County Cork. The course opened in 1997. It was designed by a team of architects including Ron Kirby, Eddie Hackett, Joe Carr, and Paddy Merrigan. Ron Kirby is a distinguished golf course architect with a prolific career spanning several decades. Born in 1933 in Beverly, Massachusetts, Kirby has contributed to the design and renovation of numerous renowned golf courses around the world. He began his career in golf course architecture working under the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr., one of the most influential golf course designers of the 20th century.
Kirby’s design philosophy emphasizes natural beauty and playability, often integrating the natural landscape to enhance both the aesthetic and strategic elements of a course. He has worked on projects across the globe, including in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Two of our drivers taking in the sights at .golf.links Tralee Golf Club, located in County Kerry was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, the course opened in 1984 and quickly gained a reputation for its beautiful layout, with dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged coastal landscape.
Tralee Golf Club also provides excellent practice facilities, a well-stocked pro shop, and a clubhouse with panoramic views where visitors can relax and enjoy Irish hospitality.

Arnold Palmer also designed Bay Hill Club & Lodge (Orlando, Florida, USA) - Home to the annual Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour. The K Club (Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland) - The Palmer Course hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup and the Irish Open in 2023. Ballyliffin Golf Club - Glashedy Links (County Donegal, Ireland). Castle Stuart Golf Links (Inverness, Scotland) - Co-designed with Gil Hanse.

Arnold Palmer, often referred to as “The King,” was one of the most charismatic and influential figures in the history of golf. Born on September 10, 1929, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Palmer’s impact on the sport extended beyond his exceptional playing career. Palmer won seven major titles during his career: four Masters (1958, 1960, 1962, 1964), two Open Championships (1961, 1962), and one U.S. Open (1960). Palmer was known for his aggressive playing style, exceptional charisma, and ability to connect with fans, which helped popularize golf during the television era. He also has a drink named after him ‘The Arnold Palmer’ consisting of half iced tea and half lemonade, reflecting his down-to-earth personality and widespread appeal.
Arnold Palmer passed away on September 25, 2016, but his legacy continues to influence the world of golf and beyond, celebrated for his sportsmanship, entrepreneurial spirit, and generous heart.

Waterville Golf Links is located in County Kerry. It was originally designed by Irish golf architect Eddie Hackett in the early 1970s. Later, in the 1980s, the course underwent significant renovations and redesign by renowned American golf architect Tom Fazio.
Eddie Hackett also designed Carne Golf Links and Enniscrone Golf Club amongst others.

Adare Manor is owned by JP McManus, an Irish businessman and horse racing enthusiast, along with his business partners. Adare Manor sponsor the Limerick GAA teams. JP McManus has a long history of supporting the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), which is the governing body for Gaelic games in Ireland, including hurling and Gaelic football.
