Bonkers Betty's Bizarre Bazaar

Bonkers Betty's Bizarre Bazaar Bi-monthly Artisan Food & Hand Made Craft Market held at Fortwilliam & Macrory Church, Antrim Road, Belfast and other locations from time to time. BB

A big bunch of artisan makers, bakers and sellers, all together under one roof. Come and see our wares at Fortwilliam and Macrory Church, Antrim Road for out-of-this-world, unique, precious handcrafted goodies! All our traders are handpicked to ensure only the finest and most quirky, unusual products are on offer. All of our traders are local, and we aim to make your visit to our fair a unique exp

erience with something for everyone on offer! Bonkers Bazaar is a handmade only fair all items must be designed created and offered by the maker as it is also a maker direct to purchaser fair. Betty heart emoticon

Why sell your wares at a Bonkers Betty's Bizarre Bazaar?
1. Our table price has been decided based on our venue costs and a healthy advertising budget for each event. Advertising cannot guarantee footfall but one thing is certain there is more likely to be footfall at an advertised fair than a fair with a lower table fee that doesn't advertise. In addition to media advertising and persistent face book activity there is a leaflet drop in the area and the venue is highly decorated externally for the event.
2. We aim not have a crossover of crafts. Jewellery is the exception as there are so many different types. We have two regular jewellery tables one is a silver smith and one is a precious gems jeweller. Another table may have a small element of jewellery (with prior consent only) as part of their display as long as it is significantly different to our two main jewellery sellers and is not the main theme of their table . We will run the fair at reduced capacity rather than taking in a duplicate table. Most other crafts are black and white - we have it or we need it - no duplications. Duplicate tables are unfair to vendors and reduce variety for our shoppers which is very important to us.
3. We insist on hand made all the way as this also provides the shoppers with a variety that they cannot get elsewhere and gives our talented makers and producers somewhere to display their wares with like minded others.
4. All of our Vendors for each event will be advertised along with their wares prior to the event taking place on many occasions.
5. As crafters running a Market for other crafters we have picked up little do's and don't's from other fairs.
6. As our name would suggest we do like to be a little different so in addition to live music we are always on the look out for a little quirky theme or competition for each event just to add a little fun.
7. We have a beautiful venue at Fortwilliam and Macrory Presbyterian Church. It is on the main Antrim Road and is easily accessible for many as well as being situated in a large residential area. We are starting to arrange our second event now so anyone who was at the first event, vendors and shoppers, and would like to leave us a review we have this facility now. Just under our banner at the top of the page. All of your comments will be taken onboard and used to tweak our fair where necessary. Hope to have you along as a vendor or shopper soon.

Hi All I have been asked to see if anyone would like to take a stall at Ulster Universities' Christmas Craft Market at their Jordanstown Campus. The details are below.

If you are interested please contact Deirdre directly.

Ulster University’s Campus Life Directorate is planning a Magical Christmas Market on the Mall for Thursday 28th November 2019 between 10.00am -4.00pm.

We very much hope that you will join us for this event. Thursday 28th November is the last payday before Christmas for a lot of people and at Ulster we are asking staff and students to support and buy local for their Christmas presents. The artisan craft stalls will be located in our large assembly hall and fun festive events are planned in and around this area throughout the day.

Staff and students are encouraged to remain on campus for a full days fun. There are planned Christmas breakfasts and lunches, speciality seasonal drinks, fun games and live music, all of which will contribute to a great atmosphere of festive fun.

Should you wish to join us for the event please click on the link and complete the short application form.

Many thanks

Heading to this weekend?

With the weather looking fair so far, walk, cycle or take public transport to the city's quaysides for a real feast of entertainment for all ages.

This year, there are activities are on both sides of the river, from Donegall Quay to Sailortown and from Queen's Quay to HMS Caroline, with loads happening in between.

We'll have extra cycle parking available at all sites, there are Glider stops along Queen's Road as well as train stations at Yorkgate and Titanic Quarter, and car parking is also available at both city centre and Titanic Quarter car parks (no dedicated car parking available on site).

The fun starts at 10am on Saturday, Sunday and Monday - visit www.belfastcity.gov.uk/maritime, pick up a map from Donegall Quay, Queen's Quay and Titanic Belfast, or download the app from the App Store or Google Play (search for 'Maritime Belfast') for all the latest info.
